Food was good although a bit pricey, we had a jacket potato and a baguette which were both very nice. However the salad garnish was very small. Service was very quick and the cafe was pretty and very clean

A very cosy cafe with an excellent selection of cakes and sweet treats! I’ve eaten in and had a take away from Cabin Cwtch and every time the food has been delicious.
Lovely hidden gem I Newport! Food and drinks are always delicious, staff are lovely and friendly, and the decor is just beautiful.
Awesome & very filling tasty full breakfast, lovely atmosphere, polite staff, clean & tidy. Nice hot coffee & hot chocolate served. Reasonable prices. A wide variety of cakes to choose from (prices weren't displayed as far as I could see but they looked good & other people bought some). Excellent quality food; some locally sourced. (You can tell in the taste & I asked & it was confirmed). Yum yum.
Will definitely be returning for a taste of something else there. 🙄
(Only downside; the sausages had a couple of tiny bone pieces in both mine & my partners sausages. Didn't mention it to staff at the time as we had a complex child with us whom was in a strange mood & wanted to leave!)

Really lovely place next to the garden centre. Yummy food and good coffee. Breakfast was fab. Had this gorgeous avo bagel with bacon and canember. They also have pancakes and cakes. The only downside for me is that the outside area is right next to the parking. Would be even nicer if there was a little fence or some more plants around instead. But still pretty little cafe.
Had reason to visit Undy & I asked the local lady where a good coffee place would be open & we tried both that she recommended. The Cabin Cwtch was friendly, they cleaned the table immediately on request & the food & coffee & tea was very nice! Our party had a chicken tikka baked potato, cheese & beans baked potato, & chicken, bacon & mayo panini & sandwich. Generous fillings & nice coleslaw & crisps. There's sanitiser to use on entry & a clean toilet. Would definitely go again when in the area. 👍🏼
Lovely little cafe, nice and airy inside, with outside seating as well. Friendly staff. Simple but filling menu, nice size portions and good prices. Kids are welcome with a small kids table, drawing/toys, high chairs and a kids meal deal. Dogs are also welcome in half the cafe and outside. All in all a really great place, we will be back.
Lovely little find. Came here for sunday breakfast after watching the rugby Saturday. Lovely staff, great food and drinks too. Always a good sign when a place is full like this was... worth waiting if you have to. We also got some cakes to bring home!
