Somerton Road fish and chips are the best in Newport ,the fish is cooked to perfection .Wouldn't buy fish and chips anywhere else love it ..
I only had chips, they were ok.

I'm not from Newport but have ordered a few times when down here for work. I begrudge spending large amounts of money so find them good value... particularly if you've gone to work but forgotten lunch lol. Not one for takeaways but I'd recommend this place to anyone local to the area.

Just had the special box meal and it was beautiful,i collected and took home and was very happy that is was still hot,there was enough food to feed 6 of us with some left over lol the only downside was the garlic bread was rock hard but everything else was cooked perfectly. Definitely recomend
Fast food going well. Super chips and so many of them.. An organised little fish shop doing well producing good food.
Great freshly cooked food with generous portions and if you like hot and tasty curry sauce this might be the Chippie for you!
