I recently ordered a takeaway from Ajwa, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The onion bhaji was a crispy revelation, bursting with flavors that danced on my taste buds. The prawn puree was a delicate masterpiece, perfectly balanced with a rich, fragrant sauce that left me craving for more.
The chicken handi was a revelation, packed with succulent chunks of meat that were so generous it felt like a meat-lover's dream come true. The flavors in the handi were simply outstanding, a symphony of spices that left me in awe.

The staff at Ajwa went above and beyond to ensure my order was delivered promptly and with a warm smile. The presentation and packing of the food were, without a doubt, the best I've ever seen in a takeaway. Each dish was elegantly presented and securely packed, maintaining the flavors and freshness.

Ordered through Uber eats, I’ve ordered from the majority of Indian restaurants in Newport, the Ajwa is definitely up there with the best, which are very few ! delivery was 40 minutes, which is fine, food was piping hot, madras was delicious, lamb tikka starter the same, pilau rice nice & fluffy, popadoms nice & crisp , not soggy like quite a few places, big portions too

Ordered direct on the website, food came in good time, was hot and very tasty. Had trouble finding a good one since moving to area, this has blown the others away!

Ordered food tonight, food was absolutely delicious, the chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked and so was the lamb madras.
The food was delivered quickly and still hot but the driver was too lazy to walk up the stairs to my flat and made me come down and collect it.
Will definitely be ordering again from here, probably one of the best chicken tikka curry's ive had from a takeaway.
Best madras sauce in Newport and the keema nans are huge! Great local place.

Only criticism..the keema nan was so thinly spread with filling it was almost not worth having..Will definitely order again tho.
1st time we tried this place Ordered chicken madras ,chicken makhani ,rice ,onion bhaji and popadoms. Absolutely delicious 😋 will definitely order from here in the future. Highly recommended
Ordered first time, and will order again. I ordered chicken tikka biryani, tandoori chicken and Murgi nan yesterday. Food quality was really good, it was warm and most importantly was delivered before delivery time.

Been a while since I've had a takeaway, but probably one of the best Chicken Curries I've had in years. Very impressed with the flavours and quality.
Wow first meal from here and it was absolutely delicious. Chicken fell apart very tasty we will def be ordering again. Thankyou (now in food coma 😁)

Went here on the weekend and was pleasently surprised to see the changes that have been made by the new owners, its a lot better than when the previous owners were in charge, food quality was great, friendly staff who were informative, and a great menu with plenty of choice if your a curry lover like me, will definitely be returning.
Just had takeaway from mint and mango....had several dishes and they all tasted fab. I have eaten and cooked many dishes myself being of Indian descent and would recommend this place based on today's food. Delivery was quick , food still hot and staff very pleasant
