The food is outstanding and very hot and on time
First time experience, recommended by friend. Typical choices of Chinese food which is always good thing. Visited on Friday evening so was buy but I didn't wait long for my takeaway. 5 stars for cleanliness! Food tasty and staff very helpful (if you are undecided).
Ordered a home delivery. Chicken balls missing so phoned and they were delivered with the next driver. Quality of food is fab. Ordered lamb with ginger spring onion. Lemon chicken. Beef chow mein. Chicken balls. Chips fried rice and curry sauce. All lovely.

First take away from there on new years eve, didn't have to wait long considerating there was a steady stream of customers and they were doing home delivery too. Food was still nice and hot on arrival home and really tasty. Would definitely go there again.
Standard food, typical menu for this cuisine. Polite staff. Reasonable waiting time. Prices average for area, more expensive than Pont-y-pŵl though.

Hands down the best Chinese in Newport. I have tried them all but keep going back to Koks. Very reasonably priced, counter staff are all very polite and professional and the delivery drivers are always prompt and courteous. I would recommend this Take away to anybody. Don't miss out!!

Ah blimey Court marshal where do I begin. From the unmatched excellence of the customer service to the devine and delicate notes throughout the meal, every moment was pure euphoria. We paired it perfectly with a crisp white zinfandel and let koks pure talent do the rest. From the bbq ribs to the crisp 24 hour resilience on the prawn crackers, it'll be hard for even the conissours of the world to turn down a delicious banquet from koks wok. It engaged all my senses and left me wincing in the night for just one, more, mouthful. Do it, let yourself be free and give in to the majesty of koks wok today. You will never regret it.

Great takeaway, food is always tasty and hot, on time, and I'm yet to find meat in a veggie dish, unlike some other local takeaways!
I ordered some food yesterday evening and there was a misunderstanding so I informed (not complained) the chef. Today he kindly sent me 4 meals and when I asked how much I owed, I was told "nothing"; they were on the house which I thought was very, very kind of him.
