My husband and I are new residents to Newport, and haven’t had a nice Chinese meal since leaving Canada. We read the reviews for Jasmine Rice and decided to give it a try. I have been searching for a nice Chinese for ages as the one i used to visit changed it sauce and it became to spicy and the chow main became greasy.
This is a very reasonable priced place and i can see its cultural history plays a large part in the taste. Not sloppy, chicken balls was as advertised
There food is always lovely and freshly cooked for u wen u order.And always nice and hot,even there drinks r really cold and ready to drink.This take away gets full marks off me for everything, food,freshness,hot and just well worth the longer wait,while thay cook it wen u order it..
Good size portions - chicken balls were huge and both the barbecue and sweet & sour sauces were delicious.
Dodging the smack heads lingering outside the shop got a bit dicey but the food was worth the risk 😍
First time order for NYE delivery. Expected it to be late, if anything, however it was half an hour early. Meal was delicious - will definitely order again!
Ordered late on a Sunday night 30 min before closing time .. They happily delivered lovely hot , fresh food within 20 minutes .. Food was delicious. This is my new takeaway 👌
