Buzzing all the time I have been there but no issue with plenty of food. Always well organised with table booking and no waiting times to speak of. Excellent and prompt waitress service and piping hot food. Ave as much or as little of what you want. Always all the accompaniments to go with all the meat, lush roast potatoes ( even though I am not overly fussed with them normally)...always have them here. Bundles of veg and lashings of beautiful tasty gravy. Did indulge in a Honeycomb Sundae which was too much for me really but still ate it all. Proper ice cream as well. Booking a defo but well worth it. Well stocked bar and service very quick. Perhaps people would see drinks as pricey but in my opinion you have what you pay for especially if you choice the soft drink refills. Dont let this put you off. 10/10 every time

Very nice evening with my partner last night food was delicious as everytime we visit , even though we didn't arrive until gone 7.30 there was plenty of food available and was all hot and fresh, selection of meat was fantastic and cooked to perfection , staff was very friendly and most helpfull so thanks to everyone for a fab welcome �

Can't fault this place at all - I'm vegan and it can be hard to eat out but there were vegan mains and pudding plus staff were really helpful about it where as some places make you feel like a nuisance. Recommend this place to anyone.
I take my 4 children here often and it's always a pleasant experience. I find it hard to find a place that serves lovely food and is child friendly but Toby cavery does both of these. I would highly recommend this place

Wouldn't recommend going on a Sunday again as this seems to be the busiest day & is more difficult to order, bar is full, bigger ques & is not much space to move around. So quieter days are suggested. Very cosy inside with no bright lights.
Came up with my family and had an absolutely great time, food was brilliant and service was excellent. We were served by the manager named Josh who made us feel very welcome and was very polite making sure we were satisfied all evening, definitely will be back soon!
Busy but expected it to be. We had to sit in the bar not the restaurant. Had the carvery. I had gammon and pork, hubby had beef. Yorkshire puddings were huge. Despite being busy the wait in the queue for the buffet was not more than 5 minutes. Staff were friendly and eager to please. Also glad they had a refillable soft drinks machine.
Devon was kind and friendly along with the rest of the staff, food was great. Me and my partner had a roast dinner lots of selection and baby friendly! Our little one had to say “heya” to all the staff, would recommend.

Our server today, was Ellie. She is a credit to the business. Conscientious, friendly, helpful and very efficient. The restaurant was very busy, but Ellie ensured we were neither rushed or forgotten about.
We were a party of 5 and we all had a delicious 2 course meal. Toby Carvery, Coldra never disappoints.

It was a very nice dinner, the food was hot and portion size was nice, great staff too! Would’ve had the syrup sponge pudding for dessert, but they don’t do it anymore… bring back syrup sponge pudding!
Two separate visits, but the same smiling warm welcome and service. The staff are fabulous and do all they can too make every moment passed here as enjoyable as they can. Special mention too Becky for absolutely faultless service. Food is spot on and everybody should be proud of the work they are doing. Keep it up everyone!!
Went here for a sunday lunch carvery, everything was freshly cooked and service was excellent. Shame they didn't have what my daughter in law, who is vegetarian wanted but she enjoyed her vegetarian carvery. The one lady (sorry I didnt get your name) staff member was extremely helpful and very apologetic. Would recommend.

You really can't fault the incredible hard work that is required to feed hundreds (300 a day normally, on a Sunday 1,000) of people a day.
We had a choice of 4 meats with a plethora of vegetables. Needless to say we had our fill and had dessert to boot.
This should have been an uneventful dinner out to celebrate a 12 year olds birthday, and it was until his 4 year old brother started playing with pepper and in turn touched his eye.
One distressed child, the manager, Josh, was quick to act, professional, extremely considerate to a very upset little boy.
Well done to all concerned, our stay was memorable to say the least.
