Coffee#1 - Newport - Photo album

One of the best places to grab a coffee in Newport. This Coffee#1 is situated within Friar's Walk and has a nice view and atmosphere around it. There's plenty of seating to take up here. Studying here would be really great.
Excellent frappe and cheesecake. Suggest not putting GF options in fridge with other cakes though (my sis couldnt eat a thing!) - defeats the object of having GF for ceoliacs....
Great food and drink choices. Staffing is much better, a previous experience I was not impressed by but have since not had an issue. Loving the Honduras single origin espresso on atm its lush! And their chocolate frappe is a great treat for my little boy. He loves it!
Like many of the chain coffee places, you can't really go wrong - it's just a matter of personal choice. IMHO this is one of the better places to have coffee. The vibe and coffee range is similar to Costa/Starbucks, but the cakes are Brill. Sit out in the sun in the square or in the sofas, pews and
Popped in with my mum and brother for a coffee whilst around town. First time here and we all enjoyed our latte which was very nice and crafted to perfection if I do say so myself!! Lovely staff and a very welcoming place to stop by. Will sure pop in again for a coffee and cake soon! Thankyou coffee
Friendly helpful staff, reasonable prices. Nice café trying to look old but in a modern building, much nice in its old building. Delicious chocolate brownie good coffee, little bit pricey
Great place for a coffee great deco and friendly staff
Lovely little cafe in town centre, I‘m obsessed with their mango smoothie. They have a few vegan food options including cakes, and milk alternatives which always makes me happy as I‘m lactose intolerant. And the best part is that dogs are allowed inside.
A great little coffee shop, not very many staff on though so expect a long wait.
Great service and great coffee what more do you need, such a clean place too
Nice place to sit down with a coffee and relax. Comfy chairs and laid back atmosphere. Service was a bit slow when we were there, but it was quite busy and only 2 staff were taking orders and preparing the orders. Good choice of non-dairy milks. The flat white was one of the nicest I've had in a lon
Great service here staff are very helpful and coffees are well presented I recommend here if you wanna relax pick a quiet time as in any Restaraunt a busy time would be inconvenient. Me and my family have come here at busy times also and have found the service to be just as good.
Have I really visited 3 of these places in 3 days. Coffee #1 has over taken my other leading coffee shop for choice. Walk in , order and get the window seat, looking at those looking in. Really, spend time with those in your company.
Great place to stop for a coffee and catch up with friends. Seasonal drinks available.
Huge sweetest selection, including Welsh cakes and Portuguese tarts. Sugar free syrups options available with unsweetened soya milk too
