Food seemed good, but greasy, the all day breakfast reminded me of a greasy spoon to be fair. The coffee was very nice and a total opposite to the food offer, I did find as the restaurant was not busy (it was a Monday early evening) and that staff members were lulling around at the serving area with
Lovely little cafe facing the river Usk, little bit pricey.. but good quality food and drink.. nice view.. dog friendly 👍 which makes it a great little pit stop whilst walking the dog down the river 😀
Enjoyed a pint and a tasty Angus burger before the match on Friday evening. Good service and tasty food. I highly recommend Hortons.
Dog friendly , food were good but a little small for what you pay for but never the less the quality of the food are good.
Coffee are on point too! Recommended going if you visiting Newport :)
Loved the classy decor and cosy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful and service good. Only had coffee and cake but would definitely return to try the food
Beautifully created indoor space with a very homey atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Even tho it was busy during my visit, the staff stayed friendly and helpful throughout the entire visit.
Beautiful little cafe on the river. Gorgeous food. Great coffee. Service always come with a smile and they can't do enough for you. Extremely dog friendly as well so always stop in with our dogs.
The coffee is absolutely great, both flat whites and filter coffees. They certainly know a lot about the different kinds of beans and which tastes come out. Also the food was tasty. Cosy café with friendly staff. Ideal for a talk or to do some reading.

Lovely spot for breakfast and coffee overlooking the river. The enhanced breakfast menu and covered outdoor seating are great additions. Food good quality, fairly priced, loads of options for veggies and served by friendly staff.
Love coming to this place for coffee, love the fact that I can bring my dog with me so it's great for a place to go whilst walking the dog. The staff are wonderful with your dog giving them treats and smooths
Only went in for a quick coffee while waiting for Newport county ticket office to open nice coffee , friendly staff and nice atmosphere will go back soon to try some food for deffo
Had a lovely big breakfast and coffee. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Nice walk over the bridge to cross the river to get to this place from the main street but was worth it. Oreo shake to take away was great too.
Very generous portions of food, coffee and milkshake.
We regularly visit Hortons which offers great coffee and food. The setting is lovely with lots of places to sit, an information board for community events and services and a piano that you can play (if you know how), dogs are welcome and there's delicious ice cream and outdoor seating near the river
Nice atmosphere, unfortunately we only had a short time to experience it as they were closing. Hoping to revisit very soon.
I had a breakfast at there and they have very good food for vegans and Vegetarians. The coffee was amazing. The price wise it’s towards expensive side. The chefs have wonderful taste in their hands. The place of Resturant is at very nice location.
