Beautifully refurbed, calm cosey atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. What more could you possibly want !!! Outstanding food, possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. (steak &onion) Tender steak, lashings of onions topped with garlic mayo on fresh, thick homemade bread. I can't recommend this place enough for a chilled out lunch experience with and amazing view out over the golf course and Newport beach. Thanks again, see you soon.

Excellent supper tonight, the perfect table with a view! Friendly, efficient service. Small but balanced menu, all freshly prepared, I had the special mackerel- superb! Can’t wait to return, a must visit highly recommended
Just had a fabulous Sunday lunch with family over at cat rock, we all totally enjoyed everything the delicious lunch the decor the staff and the amazing view! Will definitely be returning and recommending it was just great! Oh and so pleased there is a section that is dog friendly! � thanks for giving Newport another great place to eat and drink
Just had the most idyllic lunch at Cat Rock, the calamari were SO good and the view can't be beaten. Service was great as well, feel like I had a quick lunchtime holiday abroad.
Had a fabulous Sunday roast today. Slow cooked brisket of beef served with loads of veg. Will be back soon :)

Very beautiful location. Possibly could do with extending menu a little. I seem to remember there was a choice between sandwiches, baked spuds or 'dirty dishes' which is essentially chips covered in curry or such like. Staff were friendly and helpful and dogs were welcome.
Nice cafexat Newport Golf Club. Outdoor Seating (make note of table number and order at bar) or indoor seating with table service. We had a Lovely breakfast with a fantastic view over the Nevern Estuary and Newport Sands
Visited Cat Rock Cafe for breakfast around 11am and it was fantastic. The tables overlook the golf course and have a beautiful view of the Pembrokeshire coast. The staff were lovely, the service very fast, and the food delicious. Really reasonable prices too - I will definitely come back!
A great place to shelter from the winds on a sunny day. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly part inside and on the benches outside.

Drive down is a typical country road. Lots of parking though.

Great views from this restaurant over Newport bay and the golf course. Very comfortable surroundings. You do not need to be a member to eat here. The food was filling, delicious and nicely presented. Would visit again.
A lovely place. Great food, friendly staff, a dog friendly area. We went for breakfast a couple of times on our holiday to the area. The Cat Rock breakfast roll is amazing.
The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Covid precautions are in place which is reassuring, our table and seating were wiped down and clean. The whole atmosphere was warm and pleasant, I highly recommend a stop here.

Just had brilliant lunch here with my son, really tasty menu and service was incredible. Really friendly and nice place for a quick lunch!
I ordered a chicken burger, but they brought a cheeseburger. It looked too good to send back! It was the best burger I’d had since I can remember! The view whilst eating your food is incredible.
After a delightful walk from Newport, we came across Links Golf Club, where Cat Rock Cafe is sited. A wonderful cafe with great sea views. We were led to a window view table and on deciding what we wanted for lunch, received excellent service. The food was well cooked, presentable and delicious, and all at a reasonable price. We will call again the next time we decide to walk this part of the coastal path.
