Really enjoyed this restaurant - relaxed, friendly atmosphere, decent prices and lovely dough balls and pizza. Book ahead as seemed busy but nice busy. Really friendly staff. We'll behaved dogs welcome.
Relaxed atmosphere, exceptional food and service.
My partner is coeliac and we're always cautious about eating out , have no fears here gluten free pizza base's are available allowing her to eat any pizza not just restricted menu .. booking is advised

Cracking pizzas, great atmosphere, friendly and efficient service. A perfect place for an early evening meal. The staff were operating at high levels of activity but still managed to provide what seemed to be a popular takeaway service through a hatch.
It's super accommodating, considering we didn't reserve our first visit. The pizza, service and value for money were so good we reserved later in the week for a larger group and The Canteen/staff didn't disappoint, it's a no-brainer we'll be back next year while visiting the local area on holiday.

The staff dealt with my food allergy painstakingly and effectively. The pizzas were fantastic- great authentically Italian bases and imaginative toppings using local ingredients. Food and drink very reasonably priced. The staff work really hard and service is quick and friendly.
What a great place.
The food is exceptional.( We had the chicken caesar salad, followed by a great almond pudding. )What makes this place so nice is the friendly ,welcoming staff. We only started using it after one of the team ( unprompted) offered our dog a treat when we were passing. Relaxed, good
We didn't book a table but we were able to get seated inside although we were told the table was booked for a bit later. We had plenty of time to order pizzas and drinks and delicious affogato without feeling pressured to eat and vacate our seats quickly. The pizzas are delicious, all made to order
Awesome food, got a takeaway, looks lovely in there and the pizza was amazing, really friendly guy on the phone, thx the canteen 👍
Had a really decent pair of pizzas from here. Took them away, picking them up from the window at exactly the time they said they’d be ready. The toppings were put on generously, were fresh and mostly tasty.
