A nice and relaxing drink while sitting on the terrace this morning. The meals being served looked very appetising. As it was competition day, the place was very lively with a great atmosphere.

Despite its popularity, I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of divots and damage, a testament to the staff's dedication to ensuring a top-notch experience for all players. For those looking to fine-tune their game, Newport Golf Club offers excellent practice facilities. The driving range is spacious, and the chipping and putting greens provide a perfect opportunity to hone your short game skills.
Great layout. Every hole looked different. Walking through the trees to each tee. Then there was an open fairway to try and hit , fairways were lush ,rough was thick and lush, and it was difficult to get club to .greens ran really true . Pro and club house staff were friendly and were willing to help in any way they could . worth the visit if ever in the area .
Our arrangements for the visit changed, but Scott was most accommodating and sorted out a convenient tee time - very helpful. The layout and feel of the course was great and is obviously being maintained to a high standard. Good views and bluebell wood make this a lovely parkland course and only 5 minutes from the M4. Reasonably priced green fees as well.
Greenstaff were very friendly and helpful, as were the members.
Overall a well established club, with a challenging course in great condition, so well worth a visit.
Played the seniors 4bbb on Thursday, really friendly welcome by all staff, well organised and as usual a well presented course. Thank you it was a very enjoyable day.

Invited yo play at Newport and what a fantastic course. Never played their before but was extremely impressed with every hole. Each hole had something different. Liked the fact you weren't penalised for a really bad shot and you had a chance of recovering it. Greens and fairways in brilliant condition.
Would say one of the best courses I've ever played. Absolutely loved it.
Went to the clubhouse after and service and food excellent. Will definitely be back. ⛳🏌️♂️
