Very friendly local chippy with good quality food. I always buy the medium cod as this is "bigger" than the large cod. (The large is actually heavier, so more fish, and looks bigger on the plate but is thinner so you get more batter to fish ratio whereas the medium cod, while smaller in length, is much fatter so you get a nice big wedge of pure, white cod!) :-) I also get curry sauce which is tasty and not too hot. Their chicken nuggets are also lovely as they are not conventional nuggets (mashed up insides) but more like Chinese restaurant, hand-made, chicken breast pieces in a tasty batter style coating.

went in yesterday, first time in there in over 2 years think it changed hands in that time. The best fish and chips i've had around NP MK area! They also do a option for dairy allergy

As a 50+ guy, I've been in a few fish n chip shops in my time. I have yet however been in one equal to the Phoenix (Seacourt). This is without doubt the best around, and the ladies who work there are always smiling and happy. Highly recommended.

As always fish and chips are great and queues aren't too bad definitely recommended. Staff are really friendly and know the local area, plus fish is wrapped separately from chips, which keeps it all nice and tasty for when you get home. Good opening times too.

First time we've used Phoenix. (Seacourt by the co-op) Good price, absolutely the best fish and chips we've had in a long, long time. Crisp batter, not fatty or soggy, with big portions. Definitely going back!!

Very popular and busy, but the wait is well worth it. Best chippy I've had in a long while, and only 5 min walk from services. Always use when I'm in the area
