Road trip here as heard it was beautiful and overlooking The Tay as you dined. Ideal size menu choice & there's specials. Chose Halibut meal, perfection and beautiful presented, also double boat brae burger meal which my friend struggled with haha. Perfect weather, gorgeous views, immaculately clean
Chose as a place for a quick pint and ended up staying for a few hours! Staff are lovely and the music subtle. Pleasant atmosphere with spectacular views of the Tay! Recommend the Chorizo Croquettes with tabasco mayo as a snack.
My daughter and I visited Boat Brae two weeks ago for dinner and we enjoyed our meal so much. The food just melted in our mouths and it was so tasty! I also have to say that the service was excellent. and the waitresses were top notch. We will definitely be back! Thank you for being such a special p
We just had a lovely vegan Christmas dinner here, sitting in front of the fire in the bar. Lots of choice, with everything sounding delicious. We’ll definitely be back, so glad it has reopened.
The best fish and chips i had in the UK. Service is very friendly and atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. You must try it especially the outside space at sunset time
A wonderful little restaurant/pub with amazing atmosphere. Even when fully booked up we still managed to get a table. Had Hummus with olive oil & balsamic vinegar, the Haddock & Chips with Mushy peas & Crab Gnocchi with Samphire. It was tasty and very filling. Looking forward to our next visit.
Date night with my partner. My first time here but we will definitely be back, food cooked to perfection...the burger was "absolute dynamite" I was told😊
Just been for our 1st visit. Food, service and atmosphere all excellent. What a great find, very close to home. Will definitely be back. Perfect day to enjoy the views as well.
Super friendly and helpful staff and management. Great chef! The food was delicious! They were knowledgeable and very helpful with eliminating gluten for my celiac daught. The ambience was also wonderful. Would highly recommend.
I have to say this is the best place I have ever visited. The food and service and location with view is beyond.. the Staff are wonderful and make you feel nothing is too much trouble!.. The food is higher in price as for a vegan burger is £18 but I have to say the whole experience is worth it..
What a fantastic location. The most amazing views with a really cosy and welcoming interior. Staff were impeccable and very attentive. Went for Sunday lunch and the menu was impressive. Food was reasonably priced. The bar area had lots of nice areas to sit for a drink. Look forward to seeing how thi
Great night in the Boat Brae…….we sat upstairs and no matter what seat you are in you get a view of the Tay and Dundee, a little dreich and foggy outside last night…...inside was definitely not that, nice food presented well, in a pleasantly designed property, I loved that you could see the chefs p
Great place by the river for lunch. Food excellent, gently pickled cabbage was a first but delicious. Good selection of beers
Superb food with views of the Tay to die for. All of the food from our party of 3 adults and two children was superb. Pork, Cod and haddock dishes all delicious.
Good food (a bit pricey but so is everywhere in Dundee,) tasty cocktails, fairly priced wine, wonderful decor and vibe with an amazing back patio on the bay with a brilliant view of dundee. Can take a wee bit to get served if busy
Always enjoy a meal at boat brae. Food is high standard and view is great
