The place was busy on arrival, (popular) but we were seated straight away. Inside was cosy and clean. Service was fairly quick on ordering to receiving drinks and then our food.

Food was good .The service should be better. Didn't come up to ask if everything was OK. It wasn't busy so some one should come back to us . Try and get someone attention for marmalade
Nice place for a drink and a bun or a sandwich. Nice and warm on a cold day and open every day.
Been a few times with my partner after walking around newmillerdam. Service is always fast and all staff are really friendly. The food is always great when we’ve visited and is a good price. We usually get cake to take away too and it’s always amazing. Will be visiting again soon :)

Also, loved the great value breakfast bap and tea offer.
Well situated for a meal or snack before or after a pleasant walk. Service on the 'relaxed' side, but the food was very good and well priced.

This is my favourite restaurant. The food is always consistently good, the staff are lovely and the atmosphere in the restaurant is just right. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a bottle of wine I have never had anything that I have not been completely happy with.
Best breakfast we've had in a very long time. Excellent presentation, top quality ingredients used. Friendly helpful staff. We will definitely be returning. 😊
Delicious food, super lovely staff, perfect location for visiting after a walk around the lake. I had eggs royale and my friend had the mackerel. Added extras of mushrooms and avocado was no bother.
