after trying all the chinese's in newmarket someone recommended Golden Bowl so tried it tonight and was the best so far!! people in there are very welcoming and nice. Food arrived very fast and was still extremely hot and fresh!! will definitely be using again and highly recommend!
I would highly recommend this place! We just moved to Soham next to Newmarket, and first time trying Golden Bowl! Every item we had we absolutely delicious!!!
A lot of people on here complaining about order issues with just eat.. don’t let that put you off the quality and tastiness of the food! We will definitely be back!!!
Ordered from here few times this year and it’s been great. The rice is light and fluffy rather than coated in oil. The spring rolls are amazing dipped in satay sauce! The shredded chicken is nice and crispy. If you have ordered from here in past and it hasn’t been good I would give them another go as they have massively improved from when I ordered last year.

We order takeaway for collection about once a month and it's always fine, I've never had the issues that other google reviewers seem to have with this place. Food is fine. The only complaint I have is in the most recent order the Dim Sum platter only had a tablespoon full of crispy seaweed, and the steamed rice was in a smaller container than normal. Otherwise, happy to use again, as always.
Updated: May 2018 - This place continues to be fine and we get a takeaway for collection about once a month or so.
I just had a special curry and a portion of fried rice and it was very nice plenty of meat and mushrooms also some prawns I will certainly be going back to the. golden bowl
Really can't understand why this place has so many bad reviews, I've been ordering from here for years and the food tastes really fresh and it always turns up hot. I've ordered a variety of things from their menu and so far nothing has disappointed!
I ordered vegetarian noodles and soup and they were very tasty and portion was large. I liked and enjoyed my food. Will definitely recommend.
We have had takeaway from them a few times now and always so tasty. We are quite picky when it is about Chinese food so this one ticks most boxes for us. Great Crispy chicken with chili. Big portions. Great value for money!
Had decent meal from Golden Bowl. Chilli beef was nice and crunchy, Peking duck was cooked just right. Shame you can't order crispy seaweed on its own on just eat but I'm sure they can add that.
