The service was very nice, attentive and fast, I ordered a Sunday roast and unfortunately my meat was very chewy and had a horrible texture. My partner's sunday roast was ok, I guess I was just unlucky. The crispy squid was tasty and the dessert was my favourite thing, warm jam sponge with custard.
Lovely family ran house, great choice of real ales, lagers ect and when needed a lovely open fire, bar snacks are tasty n reasonable
In price, good Sunday lunch, and a wonderful outside space ! Very supportive of local traditions and events .
This is the third christmas we have had our family Christmas meal at the George and Dragon.

Stopped in on way home from coast - hadn't been in before. Really enjoyed the food, good beer and seemed busy with locals for Friday early doors. Landlord friendly and attentive.

Fried chicken sandwich was very good, added bacon, and the veggies were fresh. No mealy tomatoes. Top notch onion rings too.
