The Tack Room - Newmarket - Photo album

I'm leaving a review after my third time here. The food is always good, but the Sunday roast was amazing (in my photos chicken and lamb). We also liked the full English breakfast, and the service is always very attentive and nice.
A delicious roast dinner! Fantastic staff were very accommodating with a baby and dog. Thank you very much
Travelling through Newmarket we chose The Tack Room for Sunday lunch, and so glad we did, what a find. The roast beef lunch was exceptional, service was attentive and what a wonderful setting. We had not heard about the museum next door before our arrival but after lunch did the tour, meeting the r
👍 I visited this restaurant in the middle of July 2022. Very friendly staff and delicious hamburgers and beer were all perfect. The tour of the horse racing museum is interesting. I arrived in London after flying for 13 hours from Seoul, South Korea. I drove for an hour and a half and went to New Ma
A pleasant brunch spot, with views of the national horse racing museum and their horses. The food is a good standard, I appreciated the use of streaky bacon over back bacon, it was thick and crisp. The eggs Benedict or royale have a crumpet opposed to an English muffin which is an interesting take
Lovely Saturday afternoon spent at the Tack Room sitting out on the deck in the sun with great food and service with a smile. Faultless.
Food was delicious, staff were friendly but the service was a little slow.
I absolutely loved my visit to the Tack Room!!!! We went for brunch, the service was amazing, the restaurant so clean and inviting....my food was divine!!!!!!! I had the open sandwich of the day on Gluten free bread. It was amazing!!!!
Couldn't fault it. Great for a group of cyclists on a Friday morning and a lovely warm cheese scone with butter 😋
We have been a few times and the food is always good. On our most recent visit ( just before 12.00) we were greeted with “breakfast is finished and lunch doesn’t start till 12” and then nothing, just a stare! I had to ask if we could have a drink and wait the 7 or 8 minutes before he would allow us
A very good lunch. Reasonable prices, very good service. My compliments to the chef! Highly recommended. Excellent white wine spritzer.
Lovely restaurant, part of the national horse racing museum but open to non-museum goers. Varied menu from light lunches to full dining. Attentive service with good drinks options.
The server was very friendly and cheerful. The food was all very high-quality, too! Fancy stuff. I had the Fish and Chips and I actually enjoyed the mushy peas, which was a first. Their chips were nice and crispy. The starters are great! I'd recommend the bread dish; very tasty. Go along and have so
Decent portion food👍
A friend and I went for breakfast on Sunday. I had salmon and scrambled eggs and she had eggs benedictine. Absolutely gorgeous!! And very generous with the helpings. Can highly recommend it.
I am American but I used lived in Newmarket for three years, and this was a must go to. Friendly staff, great location, and a wide variety of delicious food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. You need to try the open face goat sandwich. I know, it sounds weird, but it tastes amazing.
Really nice set up - we booked a table to problem. The staff were friendly and the service good. The food is lovely and reasonably priced - I had the fish and chips. The fish was juicy but no soggy batter - winner! The special dessert was really good too. All in all a nice place for a bite to eat -
