We went today rose and mango with friends. We really enjoyed it. Service was perfect and quick ! Food was amazing. We had for starter Chicken Tikka Kalakkar and Hyderabad Lamb Samosa and we had mains Syrian Beef Curry. Everything was very testy. We will back definitely again !!!
Fantastic food, nicest Indian in the area by far!
Definitely not your typical greasy ‘tastes all the same’ takeaway that a lot of places are like.
The chicken platter was incredible, as were the Bombay aloo and chef mothers chicken.
It got quite warm in the restaurant (it was a Friday night and fully booked) so don’t wear too many layers (it was zero degrees outside when we visited!)
Fabulous quality food and friendly service, I was quickly seated and served. The menu is straightforward and the food is prepared to order. The flavours are unique and unlike many restaurants, the food isn't oily or sharp tasting - the spices are cooked properly and blended with ingredients that balance the flavours. The rice was fresh and fluffy and the garlic naan was light and flavoursome. Thank you to the nice young man who served me, good luck with your MBA studies!
Every visit to this restaurant is a delight. Charming staff, a relaxed atmosphere but above all reliably the best Indian food you can find.
Me and my family absolutely love this restaurant, we visit this twice every weekend my parents visit me! Pictures 1-3 show a variety of curries we like (korma, tikka, butter chicken, Dhaba, a paneer curry) + rice and garlic naans! In the last pictures, you can see the tasting menu, which was also really good and filling. The prices are extremely reasonable given the incredible and unmatched quality of the food. Without a doubt, the best Indian food we have ever tried thus far. The staff are always incredibly lovely, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and quiet.
Excellent restaurant in heart of Newmarket with friendly welcome and beautifully cooked food. Menu has less choice than many curry houses but each dish shows more care and attention as a result. Very busy but enough staff to cope and service still excellent.
Late night dinner with brilliant and friendly service with the most educated waiters (studying for MBA and MSc).
Only criticisms...... slightly too much masala with the main dishes and no chapattis.
Indulging in the vibrant flavors of an authentic Indian restaurant was a sensory delight. Each dish told a tale of expertly blended spices, creating a symphony of taste. From the rich butter chicken to the fragrant biryani, every bite was a cultural journey. A true haven for enthusiasts of exquisite Indian cuisine. And also the service was amazing.
Awesome food.
3rd visit last night and as always the food was sublime, unlike some other local restaurants where you take the quality of the food with the same chances as a coin flip. Rose and Mango does not disappoint. Their interesting (and reasonably priced) menu means that you are forced to choose something different from your usual Indian restaurant choices and experience Real. Delicious. Food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was the best Indian cuisine experience we have had so far after many travels. The service was exquisite, and the food itself was incredibly flavourful. The restaurant was decorated stylishly and the price was more than reasonable. Will definitely return again.
The food was great and the service was friendly and helpful and nice atmosphere. It was a nice treat for my partners birthday and they even gave her a birthday ice-cream.
This was a culinary experience. Everything was made to please my taste buds. I really enjoyed the food that was chosen and was very much content I as finished my last bite! A must try!!
Amazing food and service! I think it's one of the best Indian restaurants we've ever been to and we've seen many around the world. We have gone many times since we lived here and will continue to go often. The butter chicken and korma are excellent. We also love the coconut rice and fig naan. We've tried many things on the menu, and you just can't really go wrong.
I highly recommend such a lovely place.
Lovely interior decor, pleasant staff, lovely food, and a great range of food options. More seafood options than you'd usually see from an Indian restaurant, and the biryanis come with a pastry topping too, which I love. I'd definitely go again next time I'm in Newmarket.
Highly recommend taster menu. All dishes exceptional a lot of thought has gone into the dishes not at all the standard Indian restaurant offering in the UK so very refreshing.
Service, staff and setting all good too - highly recommended for a visit.
Food was absolutely delicious. We tried a little bit of everything. Will be returning.
