Balti House - Newcastle - Photo album

We were late arriving to this village one evening and had a reservation in another establishment but when we arrived there it was mayhem and no seating to accommodate our prior booking. We made our way down the street to find this indian restaurant. Staff and food were absolutely outstanding. Nicest
Great option, delicious meals, good servings.
Under new management. I haven't been in a while so thought I'd give it another whirl. Delish! I wasn't disappointed. Chicken Jalfrezi with just the perfect amount of heat. 🔥 No lengthy wait either which is always a bonus!
Outstanding as always...Can't understand why this place isn't so busy!? My advice to people unsure about Indian food is... don't knock it until you try it. This is the best Indian around every single dish leaves a party in you're mouth. The variety of dishes even suit the fussiest of eaters. There i
The food is fabulous. It needs more staff as the waitess is the only one serving. She tries her best but needs more hands. Overall a great wee restaurant with charm and excellent food and good value for money.
We got chicken tikka kebabs. They were absolutely delicious and on what tasted like freshly baked bread. I would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the rather unfriendly woman who took our order. Great food though!
I ordered chicken rogen Josh and I have to say that I was very pleased with my meal. There was plenty of chicken and tomato and the sauce was delicious. Very pleased and will definitely order again.
Cash payment only, so moment of panic and scrabbling in wallets when bill came (didn't say anywhere in place or on menu). Other than that, great tasty food, reasonably priced, friendly staff.
Had an amazing meal here couldn’t complain about the food, prices were reasonable for the portions, quality of the food was excellent. Service was very polite and chatty, however there was only one waiter and it was busy, very pleasant environment and a very welcoming restaurant would recommend it t
Food ok. Just the same as a take away. Best restaurant I’ve been to yet was Jinnah in Selby North Yorkshire. Out of this world. Guess it’s your tastebuds experience. Service extremely friendly and is clean the meat is very tender and succulent. Very very quick service.
Despite being very busy we were served our take away quickly. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.
