Hit it last night for pizza because my usual joint was shut. Overall my 12" Special Pizza was pretty good indeed: not mind blowing, but absolutely fine. Very reasonably priced too I thought, as is their menu overall on a quick inspection. The shop was banging out plenty of orders, so it must be somewhat popular amongst the Shields Road Massive!

Lovely house kebab and fries was more than enough for the two of us and for just over a tenner was good value for money in my book. I read some disparaging rewiews and was interested to try it for myself. I'm pleased to say that I don't regret it and will definitely buy again. Let's keep it in perspective people - it's a takeaway, not a London restaurant. You get what you pay for and for what you pay it's excellent. Update: I've now had several takeaways from here and it has been consistently excellent. The salad items are always fresh, fries always hot and crisp and the staff are great. My experience of Presto Pizza has been faultless so far and I can recommend you try it for yourself.

20/07/2019: Still fantastic service and consistently excellent tasting pizzas from Presto. An absolute joy to order from! Delicious pizza from here ad timely deliveries. Even went out of their way to make a custom pizza that was not on the menu where I asked for what I wanted over the phone. A shame they don't do 14". 12" is their largest.

Order from here all the time comes within 20 minutes everytime, absolutely gorgeous food highly recommend:)

One of very few Pizza Shops I will ever use. Very tasty food, Farely Cheap food but the quality of that cheap food is not effected at all I've never been dissapointed in anything I have ever had from here. Also the Staff are all super friendly ( Pretty Sure I Know All The Staff in That Shop Now Lol ) It gets very busy sometimes so you can now & again depending on day & date be waiting a little bit longer than you want to normally as they have many orders to get to but they are always as fast as possible. All the drivers are friendly too, if they are late they are full of apologies & are very polite. You also get a little card with all your orders that are Delivered to you, if you collect 5 that gets you a free 10" Pizza ;) YUMMY! You also get a Menu with every order... I've got millions of them things lol. I live in a big building with many people in other flats so I leave them on the Mail Box so others in here can Enjoy too. Oh & before I forget... My favourite part is if you go into the shop to order, you can see the whole food prep area. You can watch your pizza being made from start to finish, can see your Kebab being freshly preped & all the other foods being made. It has a 5star Higine award on the door ( I don't eat from anything or anywhere with fewer than a 4star rating ) you can see how clean it is, you see people washing their hands all the time, temperature stickers & dates on all fridges etc, food is covered & food kept apart from other foods in separate containers... All the thing you want to see when it comes to food Hygiene you will see here. So if you are after Fantastic but Budget friendly food as well as a friendly face & smile then Presto Pizza Shields Road Byker Newcastle Upon Tyne is the place for you. Maybe I will see you there soon. I'm going tonight now with all this talk about pizza, it has to be done lol. Enjoy.

Pizza were lovey! While waiting for them to cook, one of the Staff members gave my 2 little girls a fruit shoot each. Would definitely return 👌🏻
