Absolutely amazing fine dining experience! Every detail was perfectly executed- a lot of thought, expertise and love gone into this menu/food. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic meal, thoroughly enjoyed the food, with only a couple of exceptions. The menu really felt like it brought out the best of otherwise simple ingredients. The service was great as well. The drinks menu could've had a few more non-wine options, but it was okay. Will surely be coming back.
This place is amazing. Food is fantastic and its a nice to have such a great restaurant in Heaton. All the food was full of flavour and the lady that served us was very happy and really looked after us well. Myself and my mam ate ate there on Saturday lunchtime and it was nice to have the option to eat at this kind of restaurant during the day. It was a wonderful experience also. We will be back and can highly recommend to anyone. Presentation of food was great also. Well done.
We had a fantastic meal here, amazing and creative food, attentive and friendly service in a lovely and warm environment. The food was such a treat, small plates that were packed with flavour and adventure, loved every one of them. The char siu pork took top spot for me, followed closely by the bass with a smoked crust, both utterly delicious! The slight disappointment was only getting one cheese with the optional cheese plate, I would’ve expected a variety of 2-3 cheeses but it was a very nice cheese in the end.
All in all, Rebel offers an inventive, fine dining experience at a very reasonable price . It’s well worth a visit! Grab a table while they’re still easy to book.
An absolutely fantastic dining experience! As a self proclaimed ‘foodie’ and more importantly eater this was a treat. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Excellent at every turn. Our sommelier (who happens to be the co-owner) was so knowledgeable and friendly. The service was great and we felt well treated. Go here! Immediately!
From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed and looked after by all the staff. The setting feels cozy and somewhere I'd consider going to relax and experience great food after a long week. Every course had me wanting more. The flavours were paired perfectly and each dish felt like a piece of art. I am looking very forward to coming again.
Amazing meal. Couldn't fault it. Loved every dish. Drinks were lovely, especially the cocktails. The food was exceptional and it felt like good value for money. Would definitely come back. Thanks for a great meal.
A superb tasting menu with a fantastic British wine pairing to go alongside. Easily one of the top restaurants in the North East. I will look forward to returning soon!
Amazing food couldn't fault it and great service as well. Definitely an experience to cherish and remember. It's a whole night's activity. Lasts over 2 hours (10 dish evening tasting course). Great place for a date night as well if you want to splash out.
This was one of the best meals I have ever had for the price. Beautiful atmosphere, great staff and excellent food. They went the extra mile to serve for my allergies and every dish was delicious. Would 100% recommend!
