Was okay, but didn't really have that Hard Rock feel about the place. Felt very similar to a bog standard diner. The staff we're polite enough and helpful. The food was standard, but no different to any other Hard Rock we've visited around the world. Just seems the menu's have become very basic. The atmosphere was fairly flat, again it just felt like we were in average diner. Non the less, that's another one ticked off. Bluelight discount was also accepted on everything, which was a bonus. 15% discount.

A new Hard Rock cafe - as you can see from my reviews we visit these round the world. Very well located down by the Quayside in Newcastle. The restaurant had a lovely light airy feel to it. The staff welcoming were lovely. We only wanted drinks on this occasion and were found some bar stools to sit at the bar. The bar staff were very attentive and helpful. We had a couple of cocktails, relaxed with the music videos playing and took the obligatory photos of the memorabilia around the restaurant. Another great Hard Rock and glass for the collection!

Not the best hard rock cafe if been to, but definitely not the worst. Because i went there on opening time, everything was a bit slow. Later on things picked up great. Its funny to me that al restaurants in the UK have the kcal coutn next to the items on the menu. Haven't seen that anywhere else.

Booked an early table as was eating alone. It was quiet & I got to choose my table which was appreciated. Staff friendly & service good. Tasty food. Will go back.

We had the bottomless brunch and were very impressed. My guest was dairy-free and she was very surprised by the variety of dishes she could have. We had the nachos as a starter, a burger and upgraded to cocktails. We had about 6 cocktails each, so it was definitely worth the money! Our server was very attentive and made sure we always had a drink. Would definitely go again and recommend.

Fantastic place, great service, HUGE portions we shared a starter and still struggled with our mains but it was still delicious. Great atmosphere with brilliant music. Loved it can't wait to return.

Me and my partner both had chicken wings for starters which were really tasty and the accompanying sauce was good too. The mains were a different story mine was very fatty and bland tasting however I tried my partners (different dish) and instantly regretted not ordering what he had as it was delicious and really well cooked. Atmosphere was good. Great tunes playing and drinks were amazing and they didn't water them down. Would definitely return for food or just drinks again

When we saw a HRC opened in Newcastle we knew we'd have to visit given that we've visited loads all around the world. Food was the same standard everywhere which was nothing short of fantastic. Service was ok at best unfortunately which really let down this location. You know that annoying bit that usually happens when you have a mouthful of food and the server comes to ask how everything is? Didn't happen. Problem is my wife was desperately trying to flag down someone to get some sauce and another drink to accompany her meal. After about half hour she had given up as the meal was over. The Rock Shop I also felt was really small and an after thought. So much so, the product I collect at every HRC and am not missing one yet...they didn't seem to have or do - so trying to work out if I'm actually missing one or it doesn't even exist (both of which not great outcomes!) so now kind of feel incomplete. It's a good HRC if you've never been to one before. But if you have you'll leave comparing it to others.

I love a hard rock and have been to many including this one before. The sharing starter platter is absolute perfection. The mac and cheese was lush, sadly the ribs were a bit dry (had them in millions of hard rocks and just this one time they were definitely too dry) hurricane cocktail also very nice. A live band came on which I thought was going to be great but unfortunately they were terrible and considering this is a 'hard rock' cafe they were playing pop songs. I love hard rocks and I'm so glad there's one in Newcastle but if I knew that band were on again I'd avoid at all costs 😅 - 04/11/2023 date of visit

Service was fantastic. The surroundings are a bit bland for a Hard Rock cafe. Menu is basic, portions far too big. Drinks are very expensive. We went on a Friday night with love music and Jo McGarry made our evening worthwhile.

Had the best time. Food, service, vibe, music all spot on. A real party o lace. The live music is very good. Chicken fajitas amazing. Halloween at its best. Great costumes 🤠
