Very very good, if you like chicken!
The menu is well thought out and plenty of choice for lovers of wings. Delicious dirty fries and gravy was very tasty.
Plenty of sides and a good range of options for drinks. Beers and some wine.
Has high chairs and takes American Express, didn’t see if there
Amazing food as alway, and plenty of options on the menu if you don't fancy wings. Onion rings are the best around and the dirty fries 10/10!
Some amazing food, very tasty, and a lot of different flavour options to choose from! Wings were great, and the dirty fries were also great. Would highly recommend when visiting newcastle. It's a small seating area, so I would recommend booking in advance.
small place but not busy we I went, the menu has a good selection and very reasonable for the location, the food is well presented and tastes great.

50p Wings? Say no more. Been wanting to try Hen & Hops ever since I saw it on TikTok and so glad I did! Firstly, loved all the names of the wings and dirty fries on the menu.
My table ordered the My Seoul Mate, Putin’s Panic (Hot!) and Dirty Harry’s Favorite. A
Had heard great things about hen and hops from a colleague so thought I would try.
The wings and the selection of sauces were great. Especially being able to take some of these home.
My friend had the alreet hen burger and it was more burger than hen.

Great food, great service stopped in just me and my girlfriend and tried some different wings top quality food.
Probably not a good idea to drive 5 hours back to Essex after trying the hottest wing they offer. Toilet paying for it now.

Fantastic experience at hen and hops today, food is amazing and very well priced. The home made chunky chips were a lovely addition as very rare you get them in a fried chicken style establishment. Service from Claire was absolutely impeccable!
Been several times and each time we have got the keg of 60 chicken wings , which is discounted on Thursdays . The wings are all seasoned really well with a wide variety of sauce and rub options. Comes with chips beans and sauces and is a great little restaurant

Great place to eat. We had the keg of wings. So many different choices and all the ones we had were amazing, cooked perfectly. Staff were fantastic as well, we will definitely be back! Would 100% recommend
Want the best chicken wings, here you are, serving from mild flavours up to hot flavours that all will enjoy, probably the best I've had, staff we're great however if you want a table best book in advance.
A secret little place, hidden away on the cobbled side streets of historic central Newcastle. Great to go if you like chicken and beer!
Cheap deals for wings on Wednesday and Friday. Small venue could easily become a sellout so it's best to go with a small group or as a couple.
