Called in for food and a couple if pints. Food and service was fine. Only thing that let the place down was the table itself was really sticky. It hadn't been wiped/cleaned properly. Small gripe but still a gripe

Food: fills the stomach and the heart. They taste as if made with sincerity and love. Highlights were the sticky crispy chicken and the signature burger, which had the best onion rings I've eaten to date. My mother loved the latte and dark chocolate brownie too.
Atmosphere: the interiors are relaxe
I'm someone who likes their food plain & bland but I have tried various dishes on the menu and all have been really nice. We were there on Saturday 23rd September and I decided to try their honeypot dessert and OMG, it was delicious. It's my favourite thing on their menu. The staff are always lovely
The food at the Swan was lovely. We sat outside and looked at the beautiful view while we ate. Service was excellent! We both had two courses. My husband had a starter and main and I had main and dessert. My dessert was a fruit crumble and a coffee. What a good idea! Not too much dessert and a coff
We stopped here for lunch on the Hadrian’s Wall Path. Great service and good eats. Cask ales, solid pub menu, and very hospitable staff.
