Little Coffee Bean Co. - Newcastle City Library - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

This must be the biggest & most well-presented library I've ever visited. The staff were very polite, the selection of reading material is unreal and the building is very clean & tidy. I only had the chance to stop by for 5 minutes (like a total tourist I turned up 10 minutes before closing time) bu
First time here to the new city library. Will be back to have a proper look around without my bike
I've been visiting this library and it's predecessor since I was a child. Now in my 50s I'm still a regular. I've done course, borrowed so many books, brought my daughter, her friend, cousins. I've used tge computers for assignments l, bought gifts and drank coffee. Sometimes I just ride the lift to
A good place to read a book or work on your laptop, away from the hassle of the city centre. It is ‘more than perfect’ place to socialise - I have always met friendly people who like to chat. There are: 1. A coffee shop with limited options (good enough though); 1. three-hour computer access; and 2
I preferd the old central library, call me old fashioned but I like libraries with books and silence. This modern interpretation of a library is part creche with screaming children, plus I don't like sharing a space with the city's drug addicts. My heart goes out to any students trying to study and
Very helpful and nice staff. Was really stressed out by not being able to print and they sat with me until they got it all sorted for me. As it was due to a system error. They made me feel very welcome in the library. 5*****
Really impressed by the size of the building and host of features and impressive catalogue of books of course.
The ground floor dealt with the ticket renewal very professionally and in a helpful manner. The new cafe served an extensive menu including vegan, dairy free and not sure about gluten free. The library is well stocked and very well labelled so finding the shelve you require is easy. The people lead
I love this library. It's so airy and spacious with 5 floors for different activities. There are plenty of computers to use, and some for standing if you need to just do a quick online search rather than log in for a mostly-needed seat-based computer. There are a great range of books and there is th
Great place to study read and research, relax and enjoy seeing many faces of Newcastle upon Tyne and Wear and you can also enjoy nice coffee ☕😊 at the café
Quiet place for reading and study on floor 4 and 6.
Fantastic library with a welcoming atmosphere and lovely, helpful staff.
Whenever I travel into Newcastle I always visit City Library. The building is always clean well shelved interesting books. On the 3 floor there is all the reference books covering all you'd need to research your family history. On the ground floor there is now a stand alone cold and hot drinks. The
Such a great library. There's usually a free computer, which is great, because it means not having to lug my laptop around. There are quiet spots if you need to concentrate and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Lovely building and has so many floors with different purposes on each floor. The bottom floor has a great part if you need to study quietly and privately, which is good for students. This place is great if you need to kill time too because you can find a book and sit in one of the many seats they h
The library is actually very big and nice. The only problem, in my opinion, is that it closes so soon (some days at 5pm). I have to find a place in this city where I can stay working till later hours
