What a fantastic little venue off the main road. Has a fantastic vibe and a great decor. Staff are super friendly and accommodating to your every need. Good selection of drinks from beers to cocktail to spirits. And the menu is quite cool with some great options regular stuff you would see elsewhere as well as their own specialities, food tasted great and can recommend the chips with the cog dust.

Nice bottomless brunch, good atmosphere here too, the service was top notch our glasses were never empty for the whole two hours and the girls serving were really friendly. Only surprise was the end bill came with a 10% service charge which we weren't expecting. Food portion size was adequate, the chicken burger was better than the beef burger but both were still delicious. Would go back.

Came here for bottomless brunch to celebrate a friends birthday and we both had an amazing time. Food was spot on, big portions and the service was fast as soon as we had finished out drinks we weren't waiting long for another. The only reason I'm rating it a 4 was because the glasses were noticeably dirty which my friend pointed out multiple times. We did say we would visit again despite this. Huge thank you to the lady who gave my friend a birthday shot ❤️

Came to Newcastle for a weekend trip. Incredible, definitely the best burgers I’ve ever tasted and a great price! I had the ‘had me at hallou burger’ the first night which was a beef burger with halloumi, yum. The second night I had the ‘hallou you talking to’ burger which was halloumi, siracha sauce, pineapple and slaw- I don’t know who decided to put these flavours together in a burger but I know I love them! Brilliant, there needs to be a place near me that serves this food!

Service in here is 2nd to none. The Irish lass behind the bar couldn't be better if she tried. So friendly never stopped seeing If we we're OK and topping up drinks. My first bottomless experience couldn't of been better. Come here for a 1st class experience. Will be back 💯

Me and my friend went for bottomless brunch and it is THE BEST ONE IN NEWCASTLE. The service was A* from Eimear - she is amazing!! They made sure our glasses were never empty and they were so so lovely. The food is always 10/10. If you’re looking for a place to bottomless brunch, you won’t regret going here.

Came here for bottomless brunch and we weren’t disappointed. We chose this place as there were a few different drink options included, there were several good choices for food and you got 2 hours in your allotted time slot. The drinks kept coming! There was no hanging around with empty glasses. Service was great, very friendly 🌟

Food was unreal. Chicken tenders were so fresh and hot, crispy, absolutely fantastic. The waffle with chicken and bacon was the best one I've had. 100% recommend. Honey margarita 10/10. 🍹

Ah, prithee, when one doth tread upon the cobbled paths of Sandyford, it is a grave oversight to bypass the allure of "Ye Old Cog and Wheel" pub. For 'tis not just the ancient timbers and tales of yore that beckon, but also the nectarous concoctions they dub as 'cocktails'. Verily, "Ye Old Cog" hath master mixologists, whose hands weave magic, turning simple spirits into draughts of pure delight. Each sip is a journey back to days of old, yet with a modern twist that tantalises the palate most wondrously. By my troth, amongst the aged ale and hearty fare, the cocktails stand as shining jewels in the crown of this venerable establishment. Huzzah for the Cog and Wheel and its potable wonders!
