Friendly service, and authentic food. The biriyani was a highlight. Reasonable prices.
We have ate here twice as a group (7-9 of us) never been dissatisfied in any way. The food is always freshly prepared and really well presented. (Even the lad who likes it Fal hot give it 5/5)
Cold beers as well, that’s just as important !!
The food here is amazing, and the service is equally great. Only had takeaway but it's never disappointed and become a favourite. Would reccomed to anyone, especially their vegetarian dishes.
Really lovely food. 3 of us all enjoyed our dishes and the house wine was great too. Service was A1. Lovely Korma dishes. Don't know why other people have dated this lower. I regularly eat in Indian restaurants in Leicester and Rusholme and this is on a par with the good Indoam restaurants.
Lovely meal from the Komal last night. One item found to be missing from the delivery but the manager sorted this out and redelivered in minutes. Great food and service- Thanks Komal for keeping us safe at home while on lock down.
Have been using the Komal for years, still coming back after the move to Heaton (even though its a bit further to travel, its worth it). Excellent food, polite and friendly. Personal favourite is the chicken lazeez!
Have been here numerous number of times and still, wanna keep going. The food tastes delicious and ambiance is very warm and cozy. This is a true fine dine Indian restaurant.
Always get our takeaways from here. Food and service always excellent. Can't wait until we can eat in at the restaurant again.

One of the best Indian takeaways in Newcastle. Chefs special Zal Zul is brilliant. Also the thali is well worth a try.
We love Komal it’s our total favorite Indian restaurant & it’s recently been updated inside . Lovely food great service , not the cheapest but certainly the best in Jesmond 👍🏼
