The gallery featured paintings created using various mediums (such as watercolour and oil). The paintings also provided an informative depiction of Newcastle through a historical perspective. The staff were also really friendly. I enjoyed my experience and would happily go again!

Lovely art works. Only down side being lack of description/story behind the paintings, something which they have in the Manchester art gallery for example.
