Excellent restaurant in a good central location in Newcastle. Menu includes the usual things like Teriyaki but lots of other interesting Japanese and Korean dishes. I opted for the Korean grilled squid which was excellent, perfectly cooked and a generous amount. Great value for money, great food and
Went around 3pm on a weekday. Was very quiet inside with only 2 tables of guests. Food was decent for the price. Lady did only manage to eat half of her dish, as there was a lot of rice. Will try this place again maybe in evening. Staff were mainly sat around at a table chatting and playing on phone
Loved the Chicken Katsu Curry! The atmosphere inside feels like a high-end restaurant, and the friendly staff make the experience even better.
While the waiting time can be a bit long and despite being slightly pricy, the overall experience makes it absolutely worth it! The chicken and beef are hal
The restaurant is clean and visually appealing- really nicely decorated, you definitely can feel like you are in a higher end restaurant and it is a very pleasant experience simply just sitting at the table. When it comes to prices, the menu offers cheap and affordable options which is greatly appre
Incredible mouth watering Asian food, great selection and speedy service. The wine was also lovely for such a reasonable price! Definitely have to check it out.
Enjoyed a lovely authentic lunch, compiled of traditional Japanese/Korean small plates, sushi and cocktails. The veg tempura was a comforting and delicious way to start, and the meat on the Korean wings fell off the bone, very nice (we went spicy). The slow cooked pork belly was not to my taste as t
Great atmosphere and staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. We had the set meal which was very tasty and lots of it! Well worth a visit
Nice location, with friendly staff. The sushi is always lovely, and the Bao Buns are my absolute favorite. The ramen is a bit hit or miss, the first time the broth was incredibly salty, the following time the broth was perfect but the piece of chicken was chewy and gristly. On more than one of my vi
Food is legit and served beautifully ❤️ personally I love the avocado salmon and the sweet potato chips 😍 The place is great to hang out and located at the city centre
Really lovely little place, with an intriguing mix of Korean and Japanese dishes.
Great for simple sushi, or for the perfect bimbimbap if you're after something hearty on a Sunday.
Plenty of tables and room for walk-ins.
They did have a few items off menu due to freshness and stock concerns, but
Food was really, really good. Our waitress was lovely, it was however a match day and the noise in the restaurant was phenomenal and not helped by the background music. Interestingly they switched the music off once everyone left and it was really nice. I would definitely go back but never again on
Nice place, friendly staff, delicious food, only the food was delayed a about 35 min, although there weren't many people, so I think if the place was busy, it would be more late, but overall I will come back to them to try the rest of the food.
Ja Jang Myun was a bit too salty for me and the beef in the Bimbimbap were overcooked (tho those are personal preference) but otherwise everything was fine. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the Dorayaki is not overly sweet plus the strawberry sauce balances it out further :D
Note: Currently not o
The food was soo good, especially the sushi, I could tell everything was freshly made. The chicken is halal, and all seafood dishes. The service was amazing, there was no long waiting and the staff were very welcoming and polite. The place is a lot bigger than expected, so it doesn’t feel over crowd
Food was delicious. Karagee chicken was my fave. We also tried dorayaki and mochi sesame ice-cream. So good! It takes a while to get service but staff was very friendly :)
Soho initially caught my attention due to the unusual menu it sports - an even split of traditional Japanese and Korean streetfood dishes. It’s difficult to withhold preconceived notions of mediocrity when one sees a menu like this. I like to think that any sane restaurant frequenter would agree tha
Delicious food, great service, good variety and reasonable prices. I recommend the Dolsot Bimbimbap and the chocolate fudge cake.
Definitely will come back to this place! Amazing place, Amazing food, Amazing price. The price is really good. I love the foods! It was amazing! Note; they provide a very big portion (for me), so, makw sure you choose wisely, but dont worry, It tastes good! You will not regret it. The topokki is th
