On our journey back to London from Edinburgh, we decided to stop for a quick lunch, aiming to find a place that could offer both convenience and quality. Our choice fell on Burger King, located just next to the A1 motorway, an ideal spot for travelers like us seeking a swift and satisfying meal.
The location's accessibility was a major plus, allowing us to resume our journey with minimal delay. Upon entering, we were greeted by the familiar and comforting sight of the Burger King menu, boasting a broad range of choices for both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast menu featured a variety of options, from hearty sandwiches to lighter, on-the-go items, ensuring that early travelers could find something to start their day right. As lunchtime rolled around, the selection expanded to include Burger King's signature flame-grilled burgers, alongside a variety of sides and salads catering to a wide array of tastes and dietary preferences.
For those of us with smaller appetites or in need of a mid-journey snack, there were plenty of minor hunger options, including chicken nuggets, fries, and onion rings. The kids' meal options were particularly appealing, offering a balanced meal complete with a toy, which was a hit among the younger travelers in our group.
What truly stood out, however, were the milkshakes. I visited late in the evening with my young daughter. We were the only patrons in the joint. Outnumbered by the staff, they quickly prepared our order with jovial efficiency. The burgers were of good quality and we engorged ourselves sufficiently. We left with a sense of wonder and mystery and a hint of ketchup.
Service was quick and friendly. It is a very small place. Not much going on.
I really enjoyed my cheese burger. Will go again soon. Could have done with double cheese in the double cheese burger. Would be better than a big mac. The fries were very good.
Been in today ordered 2 chicken royales a coke and a monster. The young lad that helped me was tremendously helpful and had an amazing attitude 5* service just a shame I didn't catch his name
Set in a services on the A1 just north of Newcastle upon Tyne at Seaton Burn, there is a petrol station, Travelodge Hotel & Little Chef, the BK is within Little Chef.
The food is the usual BK standard the staff are helpful & friendly & you can eat you BK either on picnic tables outside weather permitting or anywhere within the Little Chef seating area.
Faster than most burger king I've visited
Service was fab! Really helped me at the kiosks when I was struggling to order! Nothing was to much trouble and the food was deliciousssssss!!!

Food was beautiful, staff were lovely, building could do with some work but i didnt go to a gallery i went for some lovely food and that's what i got!!!
Nive food and quickly served. They forgot to put my spicy mayo in. Has anyone had it? Was it nice. Must admit it's been a long while since my last BK and I'm sure the burgers have been on a diet and are not as big as they used to be
