Sunday lunch was beautiful. Staff friendly and service excellent. Reasonably priced for the quality of food.
We stayed on Saturday the hotel room was beautiful, spacious with a large shower and bath tub!!
Staff were all lovely very attentive.
We had steak in restaurant which is definitely the best we have ever had

Very nice don't like or agree with the added on service charge would have. Happily tipped but not when I'm forced to at ten percent very short sighted of this firm especially in a cost of living crisis put off about returning because of this
Booked as a surprise for my husband, room absolutely beautiful, food and drink amazing and every member of staff was so polite, friendly and helpful particularly Lena the floor supervisor, the guy behind bar (sorry didn't get name) made the best cocktail, the cleaner was so friendly and the food servers Courtney and Will are a credit to the hotel. Will certainly recommend and will definitely be back soon. Thank you
Well worth the visit. The atmosphere here is really pleasant. The staff very accommodating and happy to help.
On seeing the menu it was really hard to choose as there was so many good options.
Drinks came quickly shortly later followed by our starters and mains. The food was cooked as requested to medium rare on the steaks. I would gauge around £50 a head for a decent meal but you cab pay less or more depending upon your choices.
Overall an excellent place to eat and i will be more than certainly returning for another meal. Everyone in the group agreed this after the evening was over.
Celebrated our Valentines here on Sat 4/2/23 (as it was the only kidfree opportunity this month).
We had previously been to the "Newcastle Quayside" location for a brilliant experience. So expectations were high!
And I'm very glad to say it was amazing! We were greeted by lovely smiley staff and seated straight away at our choice of multiple tables.
Drinks order within a couple of minutes, food order taken on delivery of drinks.
The food was excellent. Squid n Korean fish to start, (soz photos missing). Then wagu burgers, fries, onion rings and cheese n brisket hash for sides!
!!! This is THE BEST BURGER I'VE EVER HAD from anywhere in the world !!!
The sides were awesome also but the beef stole the show!

4 of us went here @ponteland the staff are great and the food was lush, the day before I went to a Greene king pub ate lamb shank mash and veg which was not the best for the same price . I got the shawarma chicken board couldn't eat it all and far superior to the Greene king microwave meal I had the day previous
I travel for work and honestly the best place I've stayed at by far. Room was lovely and the only hotel I've slept like I do at home. Very polite and nothing was too much.
Food was absolutely excellent and being vegan I was apprehensive staying at a steakhouse however the effort made with the vegan dishes were the best I've ever had out. And the chef made extra effort for breakfast serving me 30 mins earlier than their usual time and making me vegan porridge with fresh fruit. Would 100% return.
Friendly, efficient, clean and brilliant service. Oh, and the food is really good here too! Just a few words I would use to describe this outstanding restaurant. Not many places get the bar/restaurant feel right but this place has. I opted to eat from the set menu and chose to go for king size fish and chips for a pound extra; it was well worth it. Cannot praise the friendly staff enough. They were always on their feet and appeared to be working very hard. Will be visiting again.

Great food yet again and the kids loved it. The food was freshly prepared and the chefs could be watched at work in the kitchen which the kids thought was great. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly with us too. Thanks to all the staff, we will certainly be back. I even saw that a lot if people were coming in for takeaways too.
Couldn't recommend this place enough. We had the sharing platter, steak cooked to perfection 😋 and the staff were all brilliant. We will definitely be back.
Fresh fish in the country . You can see these young chef's go to work , the food was a high standard and they delivered on the cooking . Cod was fresh and cooked near perfect for me . Starter of mussels was a great appetiser , plenty of sauce just no crusty bread to mop it up with which was a shame because it was good with samphire and the touch of cream . There's a varied menu with loads to pick from . You choose your fish from the board and a sauce from the menu and the chef's show off there skills in the cooking . Fresh oysters to kiln smoked salmon this menu is vast . Set menues from £15 for 2 courses to 3 courses £19 . Drinks by the glass and bottle . Cocktails and more . This is also a hotel on one of the 3 routes to Scotland or into the North East a great stop over for a rest or a night . Not far from Newcastle Airport . Look forward to going again . The fresh oysters with vodka was delish! Our seafood curry mains was tasty but the fish n chips was slightly overcooked n dry.. sat next to a roaring fire.. wonderful evening.
Had a gorgeous chateaubriand at the tomahawk steakhouse in Ponteland last night. Cooked to perfection!! Joey, Steven and the team were very attentive and looked after us really well.
We had a overnight stay also, staying in room 3, Craster. It was clean and tidy with a good level of decor and the bed was lovely and comfortable.
We rounded our stay off with a full English breakfast this morning which again was lovely.
Overall, a great break, great food and great hosts!! We will be back and would definitely recommend.
