Just wow! The food was amazing! We just kept saying how happy this food made us! They thought their service was poor but we thought they were really fast! Please tell the lady who was at the entrance today that she is amazing and that we will definitely come back here again!
Me and my best friend had an absolutely amazing experience. The food was amazing and hit all the right spots and the staff and service was absolutely lovely. Justin helped us out massively with working the bbq and Leila,Irene and Aurora were so helpful and attentive. Couldn’t have had a better experience. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and families and I am for sure coming back ☺️.
The atmosphere at Sujo & Gogi is truly an experience you don’t want to miss. With a diverse selection of options to choose from, the food is consistently good. The service is on point, with staff always ready to assist with anything needed. It’s a recommended spot to hang out with friends or family and explore a variety of delicious dishes together
The food is yummy and quite authentic . But because of the staff shortage, the service is a bit slow. Their alcohol and cocktails are also good. I like their pajeon (Korean pancake) the beef quality is also nice

What a truly great experience she had and the additional taste of her homeland was extra special.
Food served promptly and correctly waitress was very courteous and polite.
We will be returning soon but we were on Saturday in a bit of a rush .

We had a scrumptious dinner. It was raining that day and we thought of samgyeopsal. We did not regret coming in this restaurant. All the foods that we ordered were satisfactory. The service as well and the environment 🥰
It's a nice place a atully wanted to make my own food but becuse you have to chose three items to use it a a didn't bother and it's properly better to go with a few people they didn't have any sinlge platers or anything the deco is standerd they also serve a few koren alcaholic drinks did enjoy it
Amazing korean food, lovely ambiance and staff are kind and friendly. The loos are super clean too. Specially loved their Kimchi pancake, so tasty and the right crispy. I also liked that you can order lots of small dishes to share and they bring them at the same if requested, so no one has to wait for a dish. The decor is quite interesting and fun. Overall, highly recommended.
Really enjoyed the meal this evening. We'd actually booked to go to another place but turned up at this venue thinking we had arrived! But they got us a seat and looked after us well. Why haven't I been here before?! We will be back!!!

The place was nice and quaint. Lovely ambiance all around. And although the restaurant could only house a certain number of diners, the tables were situated with adequate space so that it didn't feel cramped at all.
We went as a walk in party of 5, and although they were quite tight with their reservations, they kindly accommodated us. This was a huge plus for me.
Staff were quite friendly and service was timely, but you can clearly identify they were in need of crew. Once addressed, this could make the service even more quick.
Food was served and presented nicely, and the pricing was justifiable with the servings provided. We ordered the Kimchi Jiggae, Meat platter and seafood noodles, and everything tasted amazing. One minor issue I had was we were never served our water even up until we finsihed our meals and paid. Took this with a pinch of salt as I really believe we came at a busy time with no adequate number of servers.
And being a walk in party, with them accomodating us on short notice, they did excellent.
Looking forward to experiencing another meal with better circumstances (booking in advance and hopefully a less stretched staff). Overall, good experience, though!
Highly Recommended. One of the best Korean restaurants in the UK. The barbeque meats tender, without ligaments, accompanied by superb condiments. The Korean chicken tender and exceptional, The Beef Bulgogi superb, the Kimchi well spiced and balanced. Even the fried rice was one of the best. Staff very friendly, quick, and accommodating. Place clean with good ventilation. Good space between tables. Good prices.
We celebrated my brother’s graduation here. The atmosphere was great, such a great buzz about the place especially once the grills are on!
The staff were so helpful with the menu and very polite and professional especially Yoki and Layla who chatted with us throughout the dining experience, and seemed to take a real interest in the celebrations. As we were a larger group, we were able to try a range of things from the menu, everyone was pleased with the quality and delicious taste.
We’re already planning our next family celebration here!
First experience of Korean BBQ tables. I have never tasted food like this. Staff were excellent, sliced pork belly was amazing. Cannot praise this restaurant enough. Would not accept an additional tip on top of the standard charge. Can't wait to revisit Newcastle so I can eat there again.
Amazing variety of food! The kimchi was SPICY and we got such a good variety of sauces to fit ant platte.
The portions were great, the bbq was effective. We tried to bibimbap, it was very filling, but it did need the sauces and because it comes in an insanely hot bowl, some of the rice did dry out and was a bit crunchy.
Overall the staff were amazing, and it's worth going!
