I was looking for a quick Indian cuisine fix - passing by this spot plenty of times, I decided to give it a go.
Prices were reasonable (menu in the pictures). The meal was pleasant. I ordered a vegetable Briyani, with a Garlic Mushroom Curry. While it was a quick fix, the focus really is on takeaways. I believe It wouldn’t be fair to compare this to full fledged dine-in restaurants like Chakh Dhoom or Khan’s. Therefore, in terms of takeaways, it was a palatable experience.
What I didn’t enjoy were the papadoms. I don’t know if it’s because I’m spoiled by the papadoms I’ve had in Khan’s (I’ve never had better in my life. In Khan’s, the papadoms are fried, then oven-baked, giving it a beautiful charred taste, and with their chutneys, it’s heaven).
The papadoms were not as crispy (maybe left to air for a long period of time), and tasted like ?old oil? I couldn’t finish the papadoms.
Would I come back again? Yes I would, for a quick Indian cuisine fix - but I’ll be sure not to order the papadoms 😅
Spoke to call handler who was very polite explained that owner/management was on holiday..love this takeaway but my concern is how ?? my mains and rice were piping hot but starters were cold .? Constructive criticism oil needs changed desperately pompadoms no thanks and I love them but they had to go and the naan bread the same ..I will be back 💯 just when it's back to 💯
Tried vegetable bhaji , bombay potatoes , keema biryani and chicken biryani. Taste was very good and portion size is too good. Absolutely delicious... Will order again for sure.

We got the set meal for 2 and they allowed me to change the Massalla to a madras. Every item was gorgeous but I was slightly disappointed that the chicken chaat was red in colour and sweet. A lot of people like it that way and all takeaway/restaurants do it differently. I should've asked beforehand. Still edible, I'm just not a fan of sweet Indian food. The staff were lovely and I will return!! The madras and aloo gobi were my twins favorite dishes. See you soon guys, just a shame I live in the outer West of Newcastle.

I've started to go back here . And I'm glad I have. The food is really good and there's a great deal on Thursday and Sunday. So eat up and thank me later.

Our go to Indian takeaway. Food is very tasty, always gets to us piping hot and correct order with no missing items. The meal for one deal and the Thursday/Sunday deal are such good value, and quality doesn't drop despite the offer. Honestly can't fault the place, thanks guys!
Never disappoints. Order always arrives correct, no items missing and piping hot. Prices have gone up a little recently but the meal for one deal is still and absolute bargain!
Food was Absolutely beautiful ' service with a lovely smile and a how are you doing Lisa ? Like they even know me 🤣 just what I needed after a heavy week' placed my order over counter ' took 10 minutes' devoured ' garlic Nan with extra garlic ...... 😁
I always go there for Thursday and Sunday deals I had curry few days ago was so nice and fresh
