I've been using this takeaway for as many years as I can remember. I've tried the kebabs since the new management took over and they were excellent so tonight we ordered some curries to try. I ordered on the app (10% discount) and was informed that delivery would be 40 mins late, not a problem and better to be informed and amended delivery time was bang on. The curries were top drawer and as good as any other takeaway I've tried. Very pleasant and polite delivery driver. Will definitely be ordering again.
Ordered nanbab today, lovely, it seems the previous owners sold up and new owners got place cleaned up. Food that came today was presented very well and seemed like it had been made in a clean environment. the effort put in to its presentation is enough for me to believe the quality has improved, thankyou my original nanbab was very nice.
Ordered kebab on naan bread. Very happy with this product and would recommend it for anyone who likes their doner kebabs to have an Indian twist. Chips were not what I was expecting (more like large chunks of potato than chips or French fries) but still not bad. Spoke to at least two staff members, both of whom were really friendly chatty. Good place, I would recommend.
You can tell there are new chefs in the kitchen because, starters, sides, mains, naans and rice were all different to normal. That aside the food was beautiful. Chicken chaat was a lot more sweet than normal but the food was amazing and they added extra garlic to the naan as requested. May be new chefs but I am truly satisfied. Thank you for a beautiful meal.
Beautiful food, the balti is by far my favourite dish, good prices, they do little competitions online, I won a competition online, and the food was meant for two people, it fed me and my partner the next day aswell, talk about value for money, because the price if I had to have paid for it would of been more than worth it, and got a free bottle of a good red wine, but every order I've had from there I've been more than satisfied with, and they are like a family the staff what work there and top customer service and delivery driver was a lovely lady, and the owner is a cracking guy, definitely value for money and 200% hits the spot if you want a Indians, oh and try the keema nan or garlic nan you won't be disappointed π
been using SHALIMAR for years and never had a problem!! food is always lovely and really fast delivery. the deals are the best about in my oppinon. this is the only takeaway ive tried the indian pizzas and they are unreal!! if you like spice like i do then try a VINDALOO PIZZA they are lush.. if you have an issue then you need to brush your tounge amd try again ππ
Food is great, price is unbeatable, only downside is the popularity can leave you waiting over 90 minutes for a weeknight delivery? But it is worth it. Portions are mint too!
Outstanding food I've never had better it's spiced perfectly very fresh ingredients of good quality love it delicious.
