Tried this place for the first time and was impressed with the service and food was really good. Got 4 dishes with rice and nan breads and came to £50 which wasn't too bad. My lamb vindaloo was just how I like it. Hot 🔥 🥵 😋

SUNDAY just gone, ordered the special Sunday/Thursday Banquet £10 something, had it many times and great value, for some reason it would only allow pickup and not delivery??? Asked for card details and took payment, I went to the shop to find it closed early.
Next day, Monday, they rang me to say my meal was waiting for me??? They told me they cooked it on Monday to honour my booking from Sunday
I explained I wanted it on Sunday not Monday, and, I couldn't go to pick it up as out of the area at the time, I was told they had taken the cash on the Monday and the meal was being thrown in the bin, couldn't be bothered to argue over a tenner, shocking service, as much as I love the food, no more business from us from now on.
food is lovely and worth the extra 10 minutes wait.
However I have been blown away tonight when the regular delivery driver brought a couple of chews for our dog Hudson he is the first person he meets when he comes even though I think he is a little scared what a lovely gesture our dog is part of the family and what a lovely thought.

I eat all over Newcastle and Food here is really good, Whenever I crave a Indian curry I call the New Eastend diner, Who never disappoint
The food just always seems to be fresh, soft crispy nans, fluffy rice and soft tender chicken, I swear this place beats any Indian in Newcastle hands down! Well done boys, keep up the good work

I have never been keen on Indian food, I have always preferred Chinese, that is until I received my food from New Eastend Diner. I have never enjoyed every mouthful of food in a very long time. Cannot wait to order again.
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal, pleasant reception staff, hot when delivered and so tasty, my new Indian takeaway from now on, used Jaipur for years, sadly they went down hill big time but their demise is my gain on finding this lovely gem.
Bloody beautiful once again. I have stayed with Eastend Diner for years and yes now and again I have tried other places and will always come back to the Eastend Diner. I wish they opened a restaurant. Other takeaways bragging restaurant standard dont come close. Well done to ALL at The Eastend Diner. 5 out of 5 everytime.

Staff are so friendly. I ordered the NEW munchie box 2 and it was fantastic. Absolutely stuffed and still plenty left over.

Foods nice but they need to cook the potato's longer in the samosas this is the third time they've been rock hard went in the bin again!!
