Excellent Sunday market, road closed off, so easy to navigate. Amazing range of market stalls, food stalls amazing and very diverse. Great views from the market along the Tyne. Lovely walk. Worth a visit.

Great market place in newcastle to visit on a Sunday morning. Lots of great street food stalls . Our favourite is SLACKJAWS burgers made with Aberdeen Angus beef . The guy who who runs this is great and the burgers are so nice. Freshly made with a nice brioche bun and fresh salad and toppings. Would recommend trying them. Lots of market stalls to look at and loads of cakes etc to buy I also saw jars of honey stalls . Art stalls and many more. Would be nice to have a few extra clothes stall maybe. But it's a good market with a great atmosphere. Also has buskers which are good people singing and one man playing saxophone was brilliant. It's busy and It's well worth a visit 😊

Came up for the weekend and stumbled on this great Sunday market. The whole place was buzzing and so many stalls to look at for gifts and souvenirs, plus loads of places selling sweet treats and a section of fantastic street food vendors. So much choice we struggled to choose and ended up going to 4 different places! Will be returning the next time I am in the north east on a Sunday for sure!

Used to regularly come up to Newcastle on holiday but not visited for 10 years. Since I last went to the market, there are far fewer retailers. Over 70% of the stalls now just sell a wide variety of street food. Still worth a visit though.

A very popular area to mooch around the market stalls! Lots of food and drink stalls which meant we were spoilt for choice! We’d chosen a Korean BBQ brisket burger with skin on fries from Alpine 21! Amazing burger!! Chips were fresh and hot… what a steal for £8!!

We stumbled upon the market early on a cold Sunday morning as we were preparing to leave the city. Half of the market was only just setting up so we didn't get to see everything it had to offer, however there was still plenty available from hot drinks like coffees and hot chocolates, to German sausages and burgers. There were plenty of souvenir stalls where we bought a few last minute gifts.

Never been before, how has that happened, only found out about it recently. Lots of little stalls selling decent Nik naks, Levi's second hand stall, jewellery stalls, smellies, bit of clothing, bags everything you'd expect from a decent market. Huge amount of food stalls from cup cakes to halloumi wraps from around the world, the choice is brilliant veggie, vegan and of course meat choices too. Sat on the steps, under the Tyne to eat with everyone else, I'm sure Vera found a body down there once 😂. Definitely worth a Sunday out.

The Quayside Sunday Market is an open space market located on the north bank of River Tyne between Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge. The market features around 50 stalls selling food from various countries and artefacts. The market is not too crowded but has just the right amount of people to give it a lively atmosphere. I found all vendors friendly and welcoming. The location of the market is perfect for a relaxing stroll along the riverside, taking in the beautiful views of the River Tyne and the bridges. Don't miss it if you visit Newcastle on a Sunday.

The only major change i found was there were alot of food stalls . Not so many trinkets and souvenirs as they used to have. Although it has been a good 20 years since I was last there. Still a good Sunday trip.

Great Sunday market. Highly recommended you go have a visit. Has a variety of stands which offer food, art, clothes and a variety of other goods. Be aware that it is closed if there are adverse weather conditions. Stand owners are friendly and don't pester you to buy anything which is fantastic you can window shop at your leisure. Great place

If you are on a visit to New Castle, this market is a must visit place. A lovely Sunday market along the river side overlooking the beautiful bridges. There is so much variety from food & coffee, clothings, accessories, paintings, local home made chocolates, candles and so much more to list. A person famous for handmade leather bags & purses, selling them as you walk forward the market route. In food, don’t miss the grilled cheese sandwiches from ‘The Meltdown’ & BUDARE the Latin American food😊😊 We enjoyed our visit😊 Hope you all will too😊😄
