Came up for the weekend and stumbled on this great Sunday market. The whole place was buzzing and so many stalls to look at for gifts and souvenirs, plus loads of places selling sweet treats and a section of fantastic street food vendors. So much choice we struggled to choose and ended up going to
A visually fantastic place to walk with its historic landmarks and culture. Plenty to see snd explore. Great bars and restaurants offering excellent quality and service. And a stones throw from the city centre and the beautiful Ouseburn river walk
Excellent place to visit especially on a Sunday when the Market is on, beautiful walks and the view from everywhere is perfect 😊
Used to regularly come up to Newcastle on holiday but not visited for 10 years. Since I last went to the market, there are far fewer retailers. Over 70% of the stalls now just sell a wide variety of street food. Still worth a visit though.
A very popular area to mooch around the market stalls! Lots of food and drink stalls which meant we were spoilt for choice! We’d chosen a Korean BBQ brisket burger with skin on fries from Alpine 21! Amazing burger!! Chips were fresh and hot… what a steal for £8!!

Half of the market was only just setting up so we didn't get to see everything it had to offer, however there was still plenty available from hot drinks like coffees and hot chocolates, to German sausa

The Quayside Sunday Market is an open space market located on the north bank of River Tyne between Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge. The market features around 50 stalls selling food from various countries and artefacts. The market is not too crowded but has just the right amount of people to give
Great North East tradition and now has some excellent craft stalls and fantastic street food vendors. Lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
The only major change i found was there were alot of food stalls . Not so many trinkets and souvenirs as they used to have. Although it has been a good 20 years since I was last there. Still a good Sunday trip.
Lots of variety on offer ,lovely walk ,taking a look at all the stalls and what they have to offer a pleasant experience . Will be back
Great Sunday market. Highly recommended you go have a visit. Has a variety of stands which offer food, art, clothes and a variety of other goods. Be aware that it is closed if there are adverse weather conditions. Stand owners are friendly and don't pester you to buy anything which is fantastic you
