Service for coffees is fairly decent. They clearly don't have enough staff though, as there are very often, empty cups lying around. I don't blame the staff here, I'm guessing this is usually the case with these chains. Quite often tables (if there are ever any spare) are full of trays with empties.
Visited both Caffe Nero Jesmond and Newcastle in the last few weeks. Really enjoyed toasties and chocolate caramel slice. Service in both was very good as was the food and coffee 😁 x

A very nice place to relax and drink coffee, eat a snack or a panini. The staff are friendly and often overworked. The could do worse than employ a full time cleaner. Great location. 2 thumbs up!

A lovely calm part of Newcastle to escape the busy city centre.
It would be perfect if it was not filled with students banging on laptops keyboards. The front hall is normally fine, but the last empty table was taken by a single gentleman, so I had to go to their back room, where I found 4 individuals with tense faces all typing something at their respective tab
Nice variety of seating inside and a large patio outside, great for people watching on the corner of Osborne Road and Acorn Road. Popular with students during term time.

Delicious Belgium chocolate frappe, friendly staff but pets kept me anxious all the time
Well located with great variety of coffe and hot drinks but full of students using all tables for long time without consuming anything... so, it was very difficult to take a table
A chain coffee shop and their prices are comparable to their competition but this branch has amazing staff; super friendly and super helpful. 😊 Decent coffee and tasty food options in comfortable surroundings; there's outdoor seating so you can enjoy your beverage and watch the people on Osbourne Rd
