A little cafe restaurant serving traditional Chinese foods with reasonable prices. The prawn crispy noodles was delicious and the hk hot tea was strong enough to put hairs on your chest! The roast duck and soya chicken was nice the char sui roast pork was bit on the chewy though side unfortunately.
it tasted so good and it was kinda empty it was just me and some other family, the food came rlly quick like took 5 minutes after i sat down only thing was there wasnt any tissues but other than that it was so good id come back
Best roasted belly pork (a.k.a. crispy pork) in town!! Come early if you wanna try this as they often run out later in the day🥲 Only accept cash!
I recommend this restaurant. I go here almost every Saturday for lunch with my family and I enjoy it. I usually order the same thing but I forgot what it’s called, it’s rice with mince and some vegetables (Chinese) and it’s honestly so good same for all the other dishes. The waiters are really quick
small cosy cantonese style restaurant, 10/10 recommend for those looking for a taste of home 🥰🥰, their roasted pork is crispy and delicious 👍🏻
One of the best Guangdong flavor restaurants in Newcastle. Often visit with friends.
Have been visited many times over years and always satisfied with their food. The dishes are delicious, with quality ingredients and big portion too. The services are as professional as its dishes. Highly recommended.
The food was absolutely gorgeous. The portion size is generous. Very good prices. And if you get here before 5pm, you can enjoy the special meal deal. ☺️ (Only downside is they accept only cash.)
You can visit China in a miniature form in a Chinese area within the city of Newcastle, which contains luxurious Chinese restaurants and massage centers, including a place for selling fresh fish
Amazing food, really convenient place for a quick chinese especially if your're in town, they do broth noodles, and some OG chinese food and yes even those bubble drinks, they got nice decor, reminds me a bit of HK cafes
Ordered Portuguese rice with seafood it was so yummy and cheesy. I have had in a different restaurant before so I thought of trying here and I was not disappointed. Just next to Chinatown entrance
I really like the cantonese bbq rice and fried rice can you add them on food delivery apps
From my past couple of visits, Chinatown Express keeps on being an unassuming, no-frills place to have a good chinese. A great 8£ lunch deal, and a menu that both has the more "westernised" Chinese food and the more authentic dishes according to chinese friends (it's a very extensive menu). The duck
This is a great restaurant to enjoy freshly made chinese cuisine, very friendly staff, fast service and a great selection of very tasty well presented food. I can highly reccomend.
Got a ‘three combination roast’ for takeaway. You can choose which combination you want. Mine included roast duck, roast belly pork and honey barbecue roast pork. It was good. The roast belly pork was crispy on the outside. Good flavor. I would say they probably gave me 6 pieces each.
Super friendly people, nice informal place, awesome food. A bit pricey but its a fast food that really worth the visit. Duck is something! 😍
