Visited for the first time recently, had an incredible time and will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere of this place is honestly lovely, very relaxing and laid back. Cosy but not too small, lots of space to relax and play with the cats. We only ordered drinks but I was very pleasantly surprised to see vegan and gluten free menu options (something other small cafes seem to lack, unfortunately).
Came to visit the cafe today as part of a belated mothers day treat for my mam. The atmosphere was lovely, music soothing. Coffee and tea were delicious in the most adorable mugs/teapots. The cats were sleeping as per cats do but they are more than happy for strokes and attention if you approach them. The staff even offer a few treats for you to give them during your visit. Would 100% recommend.
We had a lovely visit here yesterday, went with sister and all our children, an amazing little quaint place, wonderful service from staff and as a family of feline lovers we were all in our element, would highly recommend this as a place to visit, and will definitely be back again
I am in love with this place! It's a must go if you ever find yourself in Newcastle. Great location. Beautiful and well cared for cats. Great interior decorating and vibe in general. Nice staff. Great place to go before or after visiting the Baltic. I went twice during my last visit to Newcastle
Amazing place with both brilliant cats AND food!!! The cats didn't scratch and they are so cute! The food was super tasty as well!! Definitely recommend!
We finally made it down to Catpawcino after a couple of failed attempts and had one of the best Saturday morning I have had in a long time. Wonderful food, very helpful and friendly staff and the food hit the spot. Everyone needs more cats and cake in their lives and Catpawcino deliver both, stop reading this rambling review and give them a call and get it booked x
Lovely staff and even lovelier cats. Kyla the kitten was very friendly and Hugo was especially adorable with all his snoozing and his grumpy face .
The fruit scones and tea that we had were also really nice. Was a better overall experience than other cat cafes I have been to before, a bit more relaxed.
Went in today and had such a wonderful visit. Never been to a Cat Cafe before but will definitely be returning The staff were super helpful, and really informative. The cats were all gorgeous, and the scones and smoothies were delicious. Such a lovely place
Absolutely wonderful! Lovely staff, lovely cats, lovely food. My favourite place to go in Newcastle

What a fab place to visit - staff really friendly and knew all the cats and their personalities.
Lovely place to sit and chill with a coffee and loads of gorgeous pussy cats!
Had our 2nd visit yesterday my granddaughter loves it here, so do I she so wanted to take Kayla home and me being Scottish I adore the Scottish rare bread she is gorgeous and those ears
I find the food to be a reasonable price and the toasties very filling. It's a cafe with a difference and no doubt we'll be back the next time I'm down to visit
P.S. I forgot to get our loyalty card stamped so hopefully get it updated the next time x
Love Shirley and Brooke
Visited the café today with my partner and we both absolutely loved it!! The intimate interaction with the cats is wonderful, something we found added to the experience compared to another cat café we’ve been to. Loved the ability to give the cats treats and the white hot chocolate for Christmas was to die for!! Will definitely be returning here!!
I loved it here. Absolute heaven! The cats are so lovely and cute. The cake and tea was delicious too and very friendly staff.
The only thing I would change is please would they give out the Dreamies a bit sooner so we get to play with the little beauties for longer!
Food and drink was pleasant and prompt. The lady did a fabulous job of hostessing!
The cats where adorable, the food and drinks was really nice especially the latte which had an adorable cat design on, the customer service was brilliant and i really enjoyed my visit.
Cute little place with some beautiful cats! My daughter is obsessed with cats so naturally we had to visit. The smallest cat cafe we've been to buy I felt that added to it's unique atmosphere. Also being smaller does mean less people at any one time (also a good thing) as some children can get a little excitable around the cats. Definitely book before hand as so many people got turned away while we were there.
Its a lovely cafe, hot chocolates were really good and the caramel shortbread was great too, the cats were very chilled out and didn't seem to mind us all coming in and sitting down and we had good interactions with them all, the environment was really good and the staff gave us treats to feed the cats.
Very cute small cafe with a range of cats to interact with. There was only staff member on and it took a while for them to notice we had arrived but we still got the full hour that was paid for. Food options are limited but the coffee is decent. Overall very good and makes for a cheap day out.
CatPawCino Cat Café is a delightful place to visit if you’re a cat lover.
Located on the beautiful Newcastle Quayside, it offers a serene view of the River Tyne.
The café is home to eight resident cats and also rescue cats from Friendz Feline.
The cat keeper is welcoming and friendly, and the cats are delightful to interact with.
The café offers a variety of food and drink options, including cakes and “pawninis”.
The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind and socialize with some delightful kitties.
My favorite cat was definitely Pumpkin, beautiful kitty cat.
Visited this cafe for the first time last week, it was a great experience! Our beverages were tasty, and the member of staff was very polite. The cats were very affectionate towards her, so we could tell they're treated with care. We were given treats to feed cats, and they were all over us! The ragdoll and sphinx cats were the most affectionate, they would sit in our laps and ask for cuddles, they were so cute! Would recommend 100%.
Very much enjoyed this place. Drinks prices are very reasonable, and the entrance fee goes to take care of the kitties so happy to pay it. The kitties themselves were in a sleepy mood when we visited, but still allowed pets, and when up and about would play a bit. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Even though me and my partner only left about 20 minutes ago we definitely want to go back!. Such a lovely wee cafe, staff are incredibly friendly and so polite. Food and drinks were so good and the cats were too adorable and well looked after!. If I could give this place 10/10 I definitely would. Highly recommended!!
This place was amazing! So calming and the staff were very friendly. Such cute cats.
Really great cat café! Very cheap roughly 4-6£ for the entrance and the coffees are very cheap (2-3£) similar for the food toasties are very accessible! We paid 20£ for 2 people overall with coffees, food and entrance so very cheap for any cat café I've ever visited in the past!!
The cats are so lovely and so is the staff I will come back again definitely will recommend you to stop by and say hi to the cats 🙂
The lady who greeted us was very welcoming and nice and the cafe was lovely! The cats were adorable and it was the most relaxing atmosphere ever
Will definitely be back :)
Lots of amazing and cute cats. The cats aren't allowed to eat your food but it is your job to keep it away making it slightly difficult to eat at some points. There isn't much food on the menu however and it's clearly more oriented around the cats than the food.
Staff were very friendly and accomodating of my daughters food allergies, the cats are clearly well cared for and the vibe of the whole place was very good. My girls loved it and we'll definitely be back
