The lively atmosphere and friendly staff create an enjoyable experience, setting the mood for the upcoming match. The diverse drink selection and we
Pubs being pubs these days I feel everyone's out to pose with a drink as opposed to drink with a drink. This place changes that feeling to me every time I go I leave smashed not by binging but by pure quality peeve in my system. Match days are king here class staff and your guaranteed a wild weeke
Just popped in for a quick pint, friendly ordinary pub with friendly sevice and good pint..think there is a pool table or something upstairs as students were coming in,getting change and going up there.
Thursday afternoon so quite quiet ,but good pint, have been going for years.
Drinks before the match great selection of cask great atmosphere
Ground floor bar+ upstairs room. 5 hand pulls .2 ales on. Good service.
Why got to a fancy sarnie shop when you can get a bespoke gourmet toastie for less than £3! Get yasel to the Trent. Their beers are class too!
Lovely bar, friendly staff. Good beers. Typical town centre prices but if you have a student card you can get money off. Recommend it for drink selection and friendliness.
Best toastie ever. Great quality bacon. No fatty bits. Very welcoming to me and my dog. Friendly staff.
It's lovely place with great service and atmosphere. You can also try their toasties while there.
Lovely, friendly pub with great staff and a good selection of ales (not to mention toasties) and amazing value for money.
Dead chilled bar, nice selection of beers
A bar I first visited thirty years ago. Still very lively with a young vibrant crowd. A great beer selection and still the best FREE jukebox in Newcastle.
Super cute pub with great pints, including loads of local gems. Has a really lovely, upbeat and busy atmosphere at the weekends and on match days. Perfect place to meet friends, have a nice pint in a gorgeous area of town that isnt too far from the centre
Been here many times with friends before and after the match as well as with students friends on weekdays. Great Ale, toasties are champion as well. Would recommended.
Super friendly local pub. A great place to watch the football game
