Pleasant place which is never crowded and always serving great value-for money food! Just tried this delicious Stir-fried Duck with mushroom dish #372 and it was savory. I also love their beef brisket soup. My go-to Chinese restaurant when I'm famished because they have big portions!
A very good dinner. The fried chicken and poached fish are both very tasty and reasonably priced. The service is very friendly and will come often.
The menu was amazing, it was the first time I see a huge menu that has picture of every single food, organized and beautiful. Furthermore, I ordered noodles and they tasted soooo good, I’m here on a trip (I’m from Spain) and this is the best food I have tried in UK, 很好吃💗✨
As a China person, I think the food here is very delicious and authentic. I hope the boss can do better and better.

Just a stones throw away from Northumbria University is this Chinese Restaurant. Serving regular patrons authentic Chinese food for more than a decade, a friend of mine from Singapore recommended me this place. Don’t let the rustic looking exterior or the dimly lit stairs fool you; it speaks volumes of how long this restaurant has been running, and along with it, it’s consistency and experience in preparing their cuisine.
While most people order take-aways, I’d recommend dining in; food is prepared as it’s freshest and you get the full experience.
*I notice the bad reviews for this restaurant happen to be from takeaways. That’s why, I personally would recommend dining in.
🍳 Fu Yong Dan (Chinese Style Omelette)
Deliciously prepared, this was quite a large helping, in which my wife really enjoyed. It’s one of her favourite dishes.
🫑 Chilli & Pepper Tofu
I love how they use Chilli Pepper Corns in this dish. It was sizeable in proportion, and truly a delicious dish.
🍚 Vegetable Fried Rice
Hot from the wok, a lovely dish accompanying the condiments.
With the price being at an affordable range, this was really worth experiencing. I’ll come again to try different dishes 😄
Whenever I come to Newcastle I'm sure to order food from here, the vegetarian options are great!! The tofu is insanely good with a perfect level of spice and I always get fried noodles and veggie spring rolls which are 10/10.
Loved the flavours of this restaurant! Prompt delivery when I had ordered from them for two times! The fried rice was really great and the beef with the black bean sauce was delish! Since I like a bit of heat a bit of chilly would have been greatly appreciated! The sweet and chilly chicken was a bit sweet for my palate but I liked the flavours of them! Totally would order from them again!
One of the restaurants serving Chinese food that we have had the opportunity to enjoy in the UK. The quality of the food and everything else is at a normal, acceptable level. However, it is also delicious and gives diners a feeling of comfort.
Celebrated the Chinese New year there. Food was fantastic and service was very fast considering how busy it was.
A good variety of Chinese food. The waitress/cashier there is super friendly albeit the language barrier between us! Lovely music and fast service. A recommended experience.
Ordered from here 3 times via Deliveroo, all 3 times I've had a fantastic experience. Delivery is always here either early or acceptably a few moments late (people seem to forget drivers can't magically control traffic!) one time i ordered from here for me and my Girlfriend and someone named Davie hand wrote a note of compliment that was attached to a free bag of prawn crackers! the food itself is outstandingly good and I would highly recommend Moji, I WILL be a returning customer!
I`ve ordered food from Moji 5 times and every time the food was delicious and the portions were quite big. The vegan duck fried rice, the salt and pepper mushrooms, the vegan chicken fried noodles... everything was excellent.
