Had a lovely meal and even a more happy customer at the end such lovely helpful staff even going out her way to find me a venue for my birthday such nice staff. Ringing up another firm to conform if they were free and had that date for me. Recommend going here feels like a home from home:-)
I'd of given this place 5 stars if the staff would of given me a refund for the money lost in the machine when it broke. The place is like any other Yates great beers and great for watching sport. It was a little dead when we visited which helped getting a drink a lot quicker than most other bars. Always a good place to visit on a night out . Also door staff was very friendly.
Lovely pub. Reasonable prices. Good selection of beers, lagers, wines and spirits. Set over three floors. With lift and disabled toilets. Very spacious. Good atmosphere. Would recommend a visit.

Been in this pub a lot over the years and always found the staff to be fantastic and the food great, the only thing that let it down was the surroundings looking a bit tired and shabby. Have recently been in after a long overdue refurb and it looks great, really light and bright! Great thing about it... same staff, service and quality for money food and drinks!! Great pub with great atmosphere!
I visit the bar alot fantastic on the match days and the staff are always very helpful. Its recently been done out and i must say its now up there with the best. Fantastic new lighting and all round a pleasure to spend my hard earned cash.
Been a long time since ive been in this Pub but was passing other day to find it had been done out and it has been made over to a very High standard. Friendly bar staff a good selection of beers at a reasonable price i must say and the food we had was amazing and great value for money. I recommend this pub and will be returning very soon.

Excellent. Friendly staff especially Lauren or Laura (sorry I was half cut) cracking night. Would definitely go back again. Ps all 3 lasses serving the shorts are beautiful
Nice clean bar. The only think I'd that some r8 especially it can be very noise with the football could. But food service great. Staff very nice had a beef sunday dinner but no horseradish sause.
Me and my friends meet here regularly good food, great prices. Lovely polite staff clean bar and toilets. Family friendly till 7pm
after many years of coming here it finally got a revamp which it deserved, i have never had any issues in this bar, great service, great drinks and excellent food every time i visit!! one of my favorite places too visit in newcastle

Friendly, casual atmosphere with a good selection of cocktails and food. Peep show quiz was very fun, seems like a good indication of future events.
Good place to meet for a night out, great selection of beers and spirit's and fantastic prices. If you're peckish there's a good menu to cover all tastes.
Bar staff friendly enough. Food edible, altho could have been warmer. Chilli needs spicing up a bit. Was more akin to mince and rice than chilli and rice.
Pleasant atmosphere and really friendly staff. Reasonably priced for the city. Easy to get to and close to all public transport. Easily recommended.
Fantastic service from the team, great atmosphere, the menu has a great range of meals and drinks all at affordable prices. The wife and I visit on a regular basis and will continue to do so for great times :)
