Went here last Wednesday for some food after work. The place is decorated beautifully and has a very classy vibe. We were greeted and served by Paolo for most of our meal... he's a lovely character, very friendly with a good sense of humour. The other girl working was also very friendly.
We had half cheese/half tomato garlic bread, bruschetta and calamari to start. The pizza dough was amazing, light and fluffy and the other starters were very tasty and fresh.
For our mains we had pork belly with vegetables and chicken and spinach risotto. Both were delicious, hot and fresh. The belly pork melted in the mouth and was cooked beautifully.
We finished our meals with affogato which was presented differently than I've had before... I liked how the espresso came separately for us to pour ourselves and it looked good when it came out. We didn't think to take photos of our other courses but we wish we had.
Overall a very lovely meal with very reasonable prices.

What a wee gem! Service was brilliant and the food was delicious. We had a couple of servers and they were so personable and fab with the kids.
We came on Sunday for starters, mains and desserts and we couldn’t fault a thing.

always lovely food whenever i go here. Staff are so friendly nd welcoming & always accommodate the customers. I always get the romana pasta & its always beautiful. Id definitely say its one of the nicest italians around🤍
Our first time here and I can not fault the place. Staff were amazing and very accommodating, kindly keeping the kitchen open as we booked very last min. We were well looked after and the food was amazing! Will definitely be coming back. The steak was cooked perfectly.
This is the 1st time here for me, but the kids are here all the time very quick service and very friendly staff great place food is fantastic great value for money we will definitely be back
Happened upon the restaurant by chance and it was excellent. Friendly and well trained staff. Quality of service and food well above average. Probably the best experience and value for money in a restaurant during our four weeks in the UK. Suggest you think about reserving a table. Most customers seemed to do that.
Fabulous lunch at Aroma today, pizza and pasta were delicious. Very well presented, lovely atmosphere, the food is just perfectly cooked. Pinot blush wine was lovely. Great service, friendly and super helpful, 5 stars.
Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic drinks, what more could you ask for.
We went twice in week, just the two of us one night and then back at the weekend for a family meal of 11 and they couldn’t be more accommodating.
This is now our favourite place to eat, we will definitely be returning 😋 🍹
Wow! We've eaten in Italy and this place was so authentic. Aranchini, amazing meatballs and a twist with harissa chicken spaghetti. But what makes this place is the welcome, the attention to detail and the lovely staff. We'll definitely be back. Our son lives in Newcastle and we'll bring them here too. Thanks for a lovely evening.
First time there and was blown away, fantastic food, friendly staff and prices are amazing. We went for the £5.95 lunchtime special as a family of 6 and couldn't believe the size and quality of our food. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Love this place, they've really established themselves with some fantastic cooking and a well laid out menu with something for everyone. I would highly recommend Aroma, all the staff are outstanding, very attentive and overall give considered top quality service!
Lovely staff and atmosphere.
My choice of food was good.
Just had a family supper there. Food was very nice. Staff extremely pleasant and not too expensive. Only small complaint was it felt a bit too busy, in the current circumstances, for me.
