Lovely pub with great atmosphere. Plenty of selection for drinks, great food and friendly staff!
Great landlord. Great atmosphere. Excellent food and drink. What more could you want?
Great fun, excellent food, exceptional staff
It's been years since I was last here. It's had a total refurbishment and more in keeping with and catering for the local student area . Drinks slightly expensive as out of town but food was reasonable price and good choice. We didn't eat but it looked lovely. Worth a visit if passing or live local
Was the best pub with the best staff and a realy good group of loyal customers. Shame on Sir John Fitzgerald's for their out of touch management's utterly disgraceful handling of this whole sorry episode. Heartfelt sympathy for the wonderful staff who were as much in the dark as regular customers. M
friendly and welcoming pub... My car broke down yesterday in Newcastle and i waited 7 hours for AA to recover ! ,,,,, cold and miserable but spent time in here and felt a lot better. Will definately go again when im in newcastle,,, id recommend to all university students,, cool pub .
Great rotation of real ales on a weekly basis. Sunday dinner is perfect. Manager and staff always provide friendly banter and excellent service.
I've drank in here for a number of years, great staff, great regulars, great local....I now live in London but is always my first port of call when I return home. Some brilliant characters in there.
Decent enough pub. Good selection, pleasant staff and some unusual bar games 👍
Go for a drink if in the area. Walked from Newbridge hotel. Very friendly people in it, clean, pool table and plenty of TV's. Food looked and smelled good too. Very nice wee bar.
Really friendly staff catering for your sporting needs whether it is football, cricket our F1! Really decent atmosphere, doggy friendly too 👌🏻😊
Been drinking here for years.Everything a good pub should be. Always a good choice of real ales which are well kept. Cracking Sunday lunches.
Nice pub good cider and more importantly it's quiet down there. You can normally talk rather than shout.
Great beer. Good banter. Fine place for an afternoon pint.
A traditional pub on the outskirts of the city centre near Manors metro station. A selection of guest ales alongside the usual lagers etc always available.
Loveliest little pub with great food, bartenders and a fab Quiz every Monday!
Excellent proper public house, now closed due to bad management of Sir John Fitzgerald pub group. SHAME.
