This was a flashy pub to go for a drink, with a vibrancy created by the light designs all across! The counter is well-presented, staff were friendly and 2 cocktail pitchers are a top deal. I enjoyed my juicy pitcher, sitting comfortably at a clean table with friends!

Often overlooked compared to the rest of the Spoons in Toon but the Discow Macaw Pale was superb. Fabulous service as well.

Was here for the Sunderland v Newcastle game. Was great. Excellent atmosphere. Staff were really good. Bringing orders, clearing tables and fast service at the bar etc. Will come back.

The food and drinks were so good and cheap, can’t complain. And the ambience and staff here can’t beat that.

I normally always give Wetherspoons five stars, but they lose a star this time because I ordered steak through the App only to be told that it couldn't be provided, however I'd already paid for it. They did substitute the meal for a mixed grill which was nice. I like the external seating area in the Mall which makes it feel very spacious.

Found this one by accident in the gate. We were starving after shopping . Popped in here looking for anywhere that served food. Found it comfortable and very busy. First time here will be returning now I know it's here. Food typical weather spoons menu. Affordable and sufficient to fill empty stomachs. Would recommend visiting this place. Nice and warm and comfortable seating. Very pleasant assistants.

Got an American burger , service was really quick , prices still very low but that is now reflected in portion size. The app was a little glitchy so ordered from bar , not really an issue.

I popped in on Burns Night as I'd failed to find any shops with any nice haggis left. I ordered the haggis, neeps and tatties asking with a beer. It was nice and good value for money. The surroundings leave something to be desired, but it is a Wetherspoons after all. A better experience with food than many other 'spoons locally.

Never actually went in the venue, ordered food and drinks on the app. Fast drinks and food delivery. Obviously not top notch gastro food but a bargain lunch and fast service. Wish there was salt n perrer on the table but forgot there are sachets indoors.

Good place for breakfast. Try the smashed avocado muffin with halloumi - delicious! Though it seems like sometimes they absolutely load it with avocado, whereas sometimes there is hardly any. Would’ve expected a Wetherspoon to be more consistent.

Staff were fantastic , we asked for some ice as my wife had been stung by a wasp and the young chap behind the bar put some in a rubber glove for her as an ice pack and also brought us some vinegar for the sting. We ordered food in here and had a good few drinks. The food was the usual wetherspoons stuff which was really nice. The staff are a real credit to this pub 👏 thank you so much

Friendly staff and a top breakfast. Very much like every Wetherspoons but a much better atmosphere and the staff go the extra mile.
