We spotted this great coffee shop on our first day in Newcastle and decided that it would be perfect for getting breakfast the next day.
It is tucked away down a side street but has quite a long footprint-really what caught our eye as we passed was that it shared an entrance with a tanning centre. T
A great coffee shop maybe a bit cold even inside but the coffee was great to get some work done.
Nice vibe in here, cosy sofas and the coffee is good compared to some other places--doesn't taste as "third wave" which I can't always get along with. I've been here myself and with other people over the years. The food is also pretty nice. I'm a little nonplussed as of late though, because they
Great place to meet people and work over a coffee. Can always get in and very relaxed.
The ambience is nice, relaxing. The lemon cake was fluffy, sweet & zesty. The music is usually v. nice, when you can actually hear it, over the buzzing humans 😏 It's also great place for groups, uni socs and what not. Service is nice and quick. Staff's polite too.
My go to coffee spot in the city centre. Staff are friendly and the drinks are huge and tasty. Decent range of food too
Great spot for breakfast, coffee and cakes. Staff are super sweet and helpful and everything we had was delicious. Loads of space to sit, both tables with chairs and couches to chill on. Really nice!

Only discovered this placed recently when I wanted to go somewhere different than my usual haunts.
It's very spacious inside, with lots of comfy chairs and sofas to relax into with your beverage. Bonus: all the seating areas are well spaced out, so you don't feel like you're cramed in. Have to say,

Great atmosphere, staff are lovely, food is fast and tasty and the drinks are my favourite. I've been coming here since I discovered it in 2005- 2006 and never stopped. (Should consider vegan options for further success) 🫶🙌❤️
Lovely little hidden treasure. Perfect place to meet friends or go on a date. The coffee is amazing (and reasonably priced), the atmosphere is calm and even when busy it doesn't feel over crowded. The carrot cake was to die for. Definitely my favourite cafe in the city

The cafe has a variety of food and drinks and the vibe of the place is great! The hot chocolates are amazing and I was excited to see that they had some “school cake” too!
