Called into the Parlour today and what a beautiful place! Decided on the afternoon tea for a pre valentines treat and we were not disappointed. The food was beautiful, loved the place and they staff couldn’t do enough for us especially the girl with the ponytail. The place was busy and not many staff working however customer service didn’t reflect this as they couldn’t do enough for us. We were warmly welcomed, orders taken promptly, food and drinks to an excellent standard and very friendly staff! We will be back!
Had a wonderful day at the Parlour,it was our Grandaughter's wedding to the beautiful Natalie, couldn't fault the place at all,the staff,the service,were all brilliant,for a wedding there i think you really need a dry sunny day and we certainly got that,to me it was perfection from start to finish!,hats off to everyone at the parlour!!
Went to the Parlour today for afternoon tea and honestly can't fault it. Have been a few different places for afternoon tea and this was definitely one of the best. The scones were best fit absolutely delicious. We had to take some home as you got so much. Will definitely be visiting again *****
My daughter Charlotte took me to The Parlour today for a belated Mother’s Day present. We had afternoon tea with prosecco and it was amazing. I had the gentleman’s afternoon tea because it had mini Yorkshire puds with beef as well as a sandwich, sausage roll and ham hock and pease pud tart. Also had a fruit scone with cream and jam and a cheese scone(which came with butter). There was also a whisky and dark chocolate shot and sticky fig and toffee pudding. Couldn’t eat everything so Ashleigh (our server) gave me a box to take the rest of my afternoon tea home. Ashleigh was so friendly and helpful � I will definitely go back- it is so pretty -my friend’s daughter is having her wedding there in a couple of years time- I think it will be magical�x
Just had a lovely lunch here food was to die for. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended
We attended the garden party on Saturday night and had a brilliant time! The event was very well organised, food was great, drinks menu was good and not badly priced, live band and DJ were both very good too! Will definitely be attending the next one! Thanks for a great night out! ��
Visited a few times for lunch and afternoon tea and couldn't fault it. I had my baby shower in the willow room a few years ago and had such a beautiful afternoon! This is such a lovely venue for parties, baby showers and weddings. Great for lunch too! �
We fell in love with The Parlour immediately and booked up for our wedding straight away.
We loved the relaxed, rustic feel of the place and it suited what we wanted perfectly.
Molly was great in the lead up to the day making sure that she was on hand for any queries we had.
The day itself was incredible. Hottest bank holiday on record which meant it was the perfect place for some shots in the gardens.
The food (as always) was fantastic. All the guests commented on how delicious it was and loved that they could choose what to eat.
The day ran so smoothly which is a credit to all the staff and management.
We wish we could do it all again as it truly was the best day of our lives.
Myself and family brought my mum as a surprise for her 70th birthday. We all loved it . Also couldn't fault gluten free afternoon tea either. Will defo be back.
Attended a Wedding here on 23.12.23. Staff were friendly. Venue was lovely. Drinks were £6.50 for pint of cider.
I was an evening guest at a colleagues wedding. It's a lovely pretty place. Ideal for smaller relaxed weddings. With a few areas to chat, dance, with couple of bars.

We went here for my partners great grandma's birthday, the venue is a beautiful little place with various private cabins. The buffet was extremly good with a selection of quality sandwiches, pies, and pastries both savoury and sweet. The prices at the bar were quite high but then I'd expect that at venue like this, staff were friendly and standards of service were high, well looked after I thought 👍
We had our wedding here on 03.11.23 and it was the most beautful day from start to finish. The staff could not have beeen more helpful. What was a special, and slightly nerve wracking day, was made so calm and serene. A huge shout out to Naomi too, I couldn't have planned our day without her, she is a truly wonderful person! :)
Go every time I’m up home visiting parents. Good coffee and breakfast. Usually get the poached eggs and salmon on brown bread. For the two of us it comes in around £16. Always busy for lunch, recommend booking. Also, they’re catering more towards weddings nowadays so call before hand to see if they’re open to general public. Accessibility is good with paving slabs leading up to the main building, not sure about the toilet.
I attended my brother and sister in laws wedding on Saturday 24th February 2024. ALL STAFF members went above and beyond for us ALL, from the beginning, until the end of day! Especially Sophie. It was a joyous occasion. We made memories we'll treasure forever. Thank you so much ☺️ 💖👰♀️🤵♂️
We had a baby shower for my granddaughter here. The buffet was lovely. Staff could not do enough for us. Thank you for making this special day go smoothly .

Stunning wedding venue in a beautiful location, with lovely staff. Some great photo opportunities there.
Set in a quaint woody location just off the A1, this place offers afternoon tea, Prosecco and real ales. The afternoon tea (£14 pp) was excellent- handmade, fresh and high quality. Initially I thought the portions were rather un-generous for two people (one 3 tier stand and 4 small sandwiches) but it was just about right with the desserts. I thought the sandwiches could have been cut into bite sized pieces especially as we were sharing between two people and the platter had more desserts than sandwiches (about 4 or 5 different desserts, two of each, to 4 small sandwiches.
I thought the staff were rather un-attentive: we had to ask for everything, they didn’t know what ales they had, and messed our drinks order up.
All in all I would definitely go back, beautiful setting and decor with delicious food - a perfect treat after a country drive!

We got married here on the 4th Jan 2024. We had the most amazing day. From start to finish, it was just an absolute delight. I have to say a special thank you to Naomi who we dealt with at most of our pre wedding meetings and a massive thank you to Sophie who went absolutely above and beyond for us. Sophie, if you read this I can’t thank you enough for all of the support you gave me whilst I was so extremely nervous, I’ll never forget how much you helped me. The parlour is absolutely stunning and we wish we could do it all over again, the memories that have been made will be with us always now. And the parlour is the reason for it! Attended our Godsons wedding here just over a week ago. A lovely venue with attentive staff. All the rooms were nicely set out and everything was organised to perfection.
So close to The Holiday Inn for our accommodation after the celebrations.

The most stunning venue - photos really don’t do this place justice! We honestly couldn’t fault the staff, professional, approachable and friendly, throughout the whole planning stage they were there to help with absolutely everything and made me feel so at ease. The whole wedding day went seamlessly, and nothing was an issue for any of the staff members. The food was phenomenal! I couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried! Thank you to each and everyone of you at the parlour!

We had our daughters wedding Saturday 19th August and from start to finish , the staff , especially Rachel and Steve had everything organised to run smoothly , we couldn’t have done without their amazing help in every aspect. They all worked so hard to ensure that we didn’t have to deal with anything on the day. It was perfect .
The location and set up is so beautiful, so inspiring. I saw quite a few guests being overcome as they first entered the wedding venue. It truly was spectacular.
The venue was set up and dressed exactly as discussed. It was amazing , magical , definitely exceeded our expectations.
Every food choice was magnificent from starters to sweets , they catered for vegetarians and vegan as well. First class fizz, wines , canapés and night time snacks.Great in-house DJ and the band was fab.
Accommodation was perfect, catering for the children with guest beds as requested.
Breakfast the next morning was very relaxed after all the stress the previous day and handled discreetly with the minimum of fuss so that as a family we had some special quiet time.
All gifts and personal effects had been safely gathered up from the night before and neatly stacked together. This was done
with the minimum of fuss and was much appreciated.
I can’t really express how grateful I am for all the help on the day , huge thanks as well to all the staff that brought it together from those preparing our meals and serving drinks and food right through to front of house . A special thank you to Jane from Birdcage and Butterflies who worked tirelessly to decorate the venue with some very special details and then made it all disappear without fuss the next day .

Beautiful place, perfect for sitting outside or in. Attentive staff without over doing things. Noticed that many tables were reserved, worth booking in advance if you are wanting to ensure you get a seat however, I have not had any problems finding a spot to sit so far
