Bread club is just the genious idea! Apart from having the best coffee house in Newcastle on my doorstep now I also have the best sourdough in town delivred there <3 u HeatonPerk!
The quirkiest little café I've ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous, first visit but I think I'll be a regular in no time the coffee is delicious and the staff are super friendly. 10/10 would recommend
Lil Evie my granddaughter and I call into Heaton Perk where we are always made welcome ,Grandad loves the coffee and Carrot Cake and the staff are nice enough to heat Evie's dinner up Ciao Bello we will return xxxx
I have to say that the coffee was the best I have tasted for a long time and the cheese and ham toasty (with crisps) was lush too. Recommended, recommended and recommended again.
First visit, marvellously eclectic place, top coffee, mish mash of crockery, love it
Excellent coffee and excellent service. Won’t be leaving it as long for my next visit.
Fabulous quirky cafe!! Lovely food, drinks and staff :)

Please support your local businesses
Keep up the great couple
WE ARE THE ODD COUPLE
i had a hot chocolate there with a head of cream on it as ambitious as douglas hurd's hair do!
Their toasties are by far the best in Newcastle !
Charming little coffee shop, which has a bit of a cult following namely due to it's name paying homage to the most famous coffee shop on television!
The coffee was served perfectly, and they have a large range of cakes I believe they are supplied by local girls Pet Lamb Patisserie!
Lovely place. Someone recommended this place to meet and it felt really nice--the coffee was great too. It's a small coffee shop, but you have tables and sofas and I really ought to visit more when I want to relax.
Absolute love this little cafe! The owners and staff go above and beyond to make you feel so welcome and at home and have such genuine care for their customers and local community.
My grandma loves the cheesy beans on marmite toast and we often stop by with my little cousins for the mega milkshakes and sweet treats. The menu is a lush mix of proper hearty comfort and seasonal specials. Last time I was in one of the lovely staff was telling me that a lot of the ingredients come from the cafe’s sister shop 109 just a couple of doors down - so nice to see a local business doing their best to run sustainably!
There’s a reason this place has stood the test of time (15 years last year I think?). Couldn’t recommend this gorgeous neighbourhood cafe more!

A lovely little treasure of a coffee shop with vintage memorabilia to board games and an old bicycle on display out back. A reminder of my home while growing up. Great coffee. Great choice of cakes. The service was ok, but a bit busy so not much time for the waitress to chat. I might go back when it's a bit quieter.
Lovely coffee shop....great food....great service ... lovely decor...☺️
Lovely coffee shop! Nice and cozy atmosphere and have got plenty options for drinks. I got a caramel brownie which was lovely and a strawberry & banana smoothie. I have a feeling the smoothie might have had milk in which made it taste more like a milkshake but it wasn’t too bad. I would certainly return and recommend the cafe to others!
super cute cafe with lovely decor and local zines, leaflets etc. food and drink are very reasonably priced and their vanilla coffee syrup is one of the best i’ve ever tried. will be going back to sit in!
Cute atmosphere and sweet staff, brunch is good and quite different to other places. Really good coffee and there are alternative milks available
Toasted Sandwiches good, cheese and gherkin. Orange and almond cake tasty. Disappointed in smoothie, quite bland.
A brilliant, quaint little coffee shop with immeasurable effort and kindness. Really lovely staff, always helpful. I can't fault them. They welcome families, children, and pets, going all out to make them feel comfortable. If you're looking for somewhere to bring your family for a small bite to eat and drink, this is the place! You'll never feel unwelcome. I'll definitely be back.
We visited recently with our little dog for the first time and it was a delightful place. It was a warm morning so we sat outside, dogs are very welcome in or out and she was given water. We only stayed for a pit stop before going to the park, so we had a coke-a-cola, iced coffee and a brownie which was sensational. It was very busy but the service was efficient and friendly and as newcomers we were made to feel very welcome. We noted it was very popular with locals and regulars. It's quirky and fun with friendly, down to earth staff and we can't wait to go back!
