Best burger in town! Forget the rest this is the one. No wonder these guys have been named Newcastle’s best burger, surely the best in the UK. Loaded fries are the one and the burger it’s self is so juicy and tastes so good. If you haven’t been the you must visit and if you have been then go again.
Awesome. The Lower East burger - great patties, sauerkraut, pastrami, pickles, dressing and sauce. Unbelievably tasty. Fries were great too. Price compared to other premium burger places was really good for such a tasty burger.

So glad I discovered this place! Quite possibly the best burger and chips I’ve ever had! Staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was great! Would highly recommend Meat:Stack!
If you want a juicy burger with lots of flavour go no further. It was like being in heaven as i chomped away at 'proper' chips with real taste and thrn to finish it all off with the crispy chicken wings. Meat:Stack certainly lived up to the reviews i read and was easily the best burger i have eaten in Newcastle.
The breakfast is badass! Half price today, and even worth it at full price :p absolutely massive too! It was like an uber pimped out Macy Ds one, double sausage and egg muffin mm hmm.

Incredible burgers, delicious wings and the beef drip fries were a-mazing. The owner Allan even made a personal trip out to our table to ask how everything was, and even bought us a beer! We met the other chap in the kitchen called Chris who was also a lovely fella. Everyone should go here

I had heard such good reviews, I couldn’t wait to try a burger. I wasn’t disappointed & the added bonus it came in a gluten free bun. A burger isn’t quite the same bun less or in a lettuce wrap. Quick & efficient service. Best burger in Newcastle!!
Could be the best burgers in the city. Fries made the way god intended them to be - in beef dripping. Everything is cooked fresh to order and the service is incredible for a small burger place. Grab a window seat and watch the magic of the Bigg market unfold while you enjoy a world class burger. You won’t regret it.
Unbelievable chicken!
Having been meaning to try this place for a long time I was really excited for one of the burgers. But the fried chicken tenders I had stole the show. Super crispy coating and perfect juicy chicken.
The burger was damn good too though!

Damn, what can I say? The burgers are damn near perfect, it's quiet, the service is fast and the staff are friendly. I'm sad I don't live in Newcastle so I can't try more of the menu. Succulent, juicy patties, perfectly seasoned, well thought out combinations of ingredients that let the beef shine. Perfectly crisp fries and honestly really good beer on tap! Some reviews complain about the price, but if you want a top tier burger, you get what you pay for. Go here!

It's been a long time since I've been to Newcastle nearly 2.5yrs. And much has been vacated in terms of bars and pubs. However I was told to try Meat Stack. After a brief wander I found it although it seemed quiet, service was friendly but with its menu and offers I opted to try the all in consisting of double cheeseburger, 2 chicken tenders , fries, 2 dips and a soft drink or beer. It was her ei spotted a missed favourite PBR past blue ribbon beer beloved of so many including Macklemore but more for my time in Milwaukee working. It did not take too long for the meal. It was impressive fries were crisp and the ranch dip superb. What I did not expect were the chicken tenders I say OMG, the coating was insane and dipped in ranch just stunning chicken as moist as can be. I savoured every morsel and I mean every morsel. The cheeseburger was next and right up there with many moist and flavourful patties. However such was the impression of the chicken whilst speaking to one of the staff he recommended the garlic tenders. Another PBR beer as well. Well despite a dip been offered the chicken tender drenched in a good way. The garlic butter was somehow a sweeter tang to it was informed they add maple syrup as well. Just brill, if it wasn't for the fact I was as happy a sa oig in the proverbial mire, ii would stay and try more. Its that good, some if not the best chicken tenders ever. Seriously if its a burger or chicken tenders this is the place, cheers

Texas BBQ burger with 2chicken tenders, loaded fries& choc milkshake
Everything about this was amazing, especially the milkshake & chicken tenders, the batter was so light that it pretty much melted in ma mouth, the milk shake actually tasted like a proper choc milkshake, not to think but full of flavour.
If u like ya burgers defo give this place a try

This is by far the best burger in town. I tried this place for the first time after a recommendation, the recommendation was a winner.
I went for a single Mexican burger, the high quality meat and sauce was the perfect combination with a few jalapenos thrown in for kick.

Really good burgers possibly best in town. Dirty Frys are great , and there are lots of options.
Slightly on the pricy side, that being said probably no more than a tgi.
No need to book a table, especially mid week, it's pretty open planned.
It is table service, but staff failed to point out condiments and napkins at the side.

This is easily one of my favourite burger places in town, food is so good especially the chicken burgers. Shoutout to the guy with tattoos who usually serves me, he is always super lovely and all around good vibes in the shop. Menu is easy to navigate, choose your burger and add the meal deal on (fries and a drink). Highly recommend the chicken burgers, always so tasty!
This might honestly be my favourite burger ever! So. Damn. Tasty. Really cool interior, lots of seating and a big window seat. The choice of burgers were really tempting, I ended up going for the Yellowstone and it was delicious 😋 The loaded fries were delicious to boot and it's great to get a proper beer with it if you want one. Highly recommended 👌

In my opinion the best burgers in Newcastle (and I have tried several). This is our go to place! Their menu is simple without millions of choices but all are great. Their specials are worth a try and often make it into their menu for a while. The beef burgers themselves always taste of good quality meat. The beef dripping fries are awesome! Would highly recommend either the restaurant or a takeaway from these guys.
The food and service are amazing, the general atmosphere is also fantastic! Not only do they do the best burgers I've ever tasted but the breakfasts are out of this world, if you haven't been here before then there is a hole in your life that needs filling!
It's a ok place they do American burgers the prices are ok town prices witch is Fare I had the west coast burger meal the burgers was nice the fries where really nice crispy on the out side soft in the inside this it was cooked in beef dripping so had a really nice taste

While I understand that business cost are going to be passed onto the customer, Meat:Stack's steep increase in price over the past year have made it less value for money that it used to be.
£15.45 for a burger, a side of chips and a refillable drink is verging on the side of sit down restaurant prices.

Meat:Stack is by far the best burger spot in the North East. The consistent quality of the food put out is outstanding.
I visited Meat:Stack this week and had their September special, the 'That Gochujang-thang'. This consisted of Spicy Block and Bottle Black Pudding, Korean Style BBQ Sauce, Smoky Mountain Mayo, House Green Relish, Pickled Chillies, lettuce and crushed peanuts. The burger had a satisfying umami experience, accompanied by a delightful sharp and tangy quality through the BBQ sauce and Mayo. While spicy, this burger doesn't knock your head off which makes it even better.
To accompany this I had fries (which were light and fluffy) and a refillable drink, opting for the cherry coke option.
Cost:
Burger (double patty) = £9.5
Meal Upgrade (Fries and refillable drink) = £3.5
Total =£13
I am more than happy to pay this price for the quality of ingredients and cooking.
Dining in is a great experience, the interior is well decorated and throughout with a mixture of seating for groups or a person on their own. It is also always really clean with staff promptly cleaning tables etc after a patron leaves.
Just the kind of place you go out your way to visit.
After following this place for 6-months from New Zealand before visiting Newcastle on our trip, I had high hopes and honestly - this one lives up to the hype. The burger was astonishing - I can't even use words to describe how good this was ... I don't think the English language has the appropriate words to describe the mouth feels. Perfectly cooked beef, crispy bacon, soft bun ... all round delicious 👌 I got the standard double quarter pounder and went all-in with chicken tenders, hand cut fries, buffalo sauce and a cheeky Newcastle IPA... honestly, if you're looking for a food experience - go eat here. 11/10 good and the staff were super friendly, lovely to deal with, the venue is cool/in a nice location and we LOVED our two days in Newcastle, but Meat Stack was the highlight 👌 My only complaint is we tried the Fat Hippo second night and we 100% should have gone for round two at Meat Stack 👌🍔❤️🍻🥰
I took my daughter here for the first time . We just loved it good food excellent price. Definitely going back staff are so helpful and friendly.
